4 bends is the correct terminology of oval racing. It references the exit and entrance of the straights

BT actually called me yesterday and offered a revised infinity deal as the current deal hadn't been connected yet £9 infinity 1 unlimited + free weekend calls £3 HD Sports Pack £17.99 line rental 12 month contract, the guy on the end of the phone didn't just get his hand snapped off. I smashed every limb he has and said thanks. -
http://www.bellevueaces.co/newsitem.aspx?id=1642 That statement is very clear, the gates should never have opened tonight and Belle Vue Speedway fooked up
-
See the Aces fans are out defending the indefensible. Open ya eyes ffs
-
What utter nonsense. The only disgrace is Belle Vue Speedway for allowing 6000 fans to travel to the opening night knowing the tracks dogrubbishe and could possibly not be safe enough to race. The buck does not fall at the feet of the riders
-
Unfortunately that's not the way the promoter's view it. They firmly believe the sports survival in Britain is all about them. That was clear after the BSPA supporters meeting when they kept mentioning that they hoped the fans took something away with them. The whole point of a fans forum is that it should be the other way round & the promoter's do the listening

When & what time can we get in?

Can't see how anyone can predict King's Lynn to finish top 4? Iversen leaves around April time and other teams already talking of strengthening up in May. King's Lynn will be swimming around the bottom with Leicester come the end of the season.

I think what us Stars fans should be celebrating after last night is the fact Barker didn't end up being our final rider

Just phoned BT and got unlimited infinity with SportsHD for £17 for 6 months, £25pm after 6 months. Currently paying 18pm for standard unlimited and no sports -
It's a small positive but a typical speedway positive. A speedway promoter being reactive rather than proactive. Being reactive could mean it's all to late for some

That old chestnut. People have to feel they're being served value for money. The fact the lions returned was great but that novelty has worn off & crowds have fallen. Leicester have an owner that for years believed what he had was perfect and didn't listen to nobody. Now he's woken up and started to realise that so many supporters have gone he's had to try to do something. No longer people give a monkey's with the use it or lose it threat. If people leave, it's their choice and couldn't care less if it's no longer there. Value For Money is all that matters

We haven't got rider's sharing the 1 or 3 team spot. Iversen has replaced Batchelor. Effectively, Batchelor is free to sign for someone else

Edinburgh's behaviour is nothing short of disgraceful. They've objected because they "COULD" have a fixture that day that shows in the calendar as 'TBC' Pathetic and is quite obvious jealousy over Glasgow being given the fixture. Advice for Glasgow, can you put 'TBC' against every other day of the week accept Friday's then object to every rescheduled Edinburgh fixture because you "COULD" have a fixture that day. That's how petty this all is. It's sad

It really wouldn't be like our club to mess the fans around would it We're turning into a bit of a laughing stock with our organisation to be honest. Absolutely p!ss poor

Our King's Lynn side that finished bottom in 98 would piddle all over this Poole side. It shows how far things have fallen away for British Speedway rather than a reflection on Poole. Poole can only put out a side to current regulations, and yes, currently Poole are THE biggest club in British Speedway. Belle Vue over the last decade have tarnished their history slightly but now could, if run correctly, regain their higher status. Everything is in place for them to do so.

Have to say, I'm now starting to struggle with my kodi. Last couple of days it's stopped auto updating. Still stuck on Tuesday's football fixtures etc & comes up with stream failures. Balls if I know how to fix that as I'm newish to this stuff -
As a No'8 meaning his PL fixtures will take priority
-
Troy's hoping Iversen changes his mind and sticks around all season. A bit of average manipulation required for that to work out though.

If Iversen is in, excitement levels will rise a little as that will make the team look very different. But, there's still a lot of work to be done by the promotion to better 2015's abysmal efforts. 1. Help in creating a better atmosphere. Just banging out loud music doesn't cut it 2. Rider interaction. We need to see some passion, Korneliussen and Schlein have it but we need to see it as a team too. 3. Interaction from the promotion. Last season we only heard Buster's passion when we limped out of the Play-Offs, need him letting rip from day 1 even if it's at my moaning. It will help lift people's spirits when you know the management care too (but don't give us the great racing speech when it's clearly shocking ) 4. Presentation. From 6.30 - 7.15 have the management & or rider's greet fans in, it's good customer service. Force themselves upon new people, don't wait to be spoken too. Bring back the theme night, live bands, BBQ's etc in the summer months. Start the season off with a cheap airhorn sale for a couple of meetings, the noise habit will just continue all season. The guy in the middle, we need a micman replica. Someone with enthusiasm but not shouty like last year's annoyance.

Coventry's New Stadium
Daniel Smith replied to Humphrey Appleby's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Underlined what would be hugely concerning. To get things moving in the right direction you don't have to remove the old stadium first. That is a line an owner would use to build his houses then say the new stadium isn't financially viable. -
