Absolutely nothing. His Mum confirms it isn't his back but the silence is worrying to say the least. After last year an awful lot of people are concerned

Speedway Champions League ?
Daniel Smith replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
Looks like Buster Chapman (BSPA Chairman & King's Lynn owner) is getting involved in Dubai Translation is pretty horrendous so apologies for that https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=pl&u=http://www.przegladsportowy.pl/znamy-nazwiska-budowniczych-toru-na-bliskim-wschodzie,artykul,663540,1,12427.html&prev=search -
Bt Sports Costs
Daniel Smith replied to sportmaniaphotos's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
BT Sports 1 is a free channel for those that have BT Broadband -
Yes they still are What did he say for those of us that didn't make it?

Think it is 2+2=5 situation. But, he's always maintained that he's always available for us if in need. So this is how it will role out imo With Huckenbeck being No'8 Iversen will remain in the squad but pick & choose his fixtures once Batchelor is re-introduced to the team i.e. Poole, Belle Vue, Swindon, Wolves fixtures. The other fixtures would see Huckenbeck in for Iversen One week it'll be: 1. Iversen 2. Korneliussen 3. Lambert 4. Schlein 5. Batchelor 6. Wilkinson 7. Rose Another week: 1. Batchelor 2. Huckenbeck 3. Schlein 4. Korneliussen 5. Lambert 6. Wilkinson 7. Rose

Scored paid 9 (6+3) so done his job As the score charts show, all the rider's scored above their averages so job done

Fingers crossed it's just precaution with Schlein. Certainly don't need this right now

Premier League V Elite League
Daniel Smith replied to Shale Searcher's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
For me, the Premier League is a far more competitive competition and the rider's actually seem to care more about who's their watching them. In the EL, rider's turn up, race then p!$$ off without a care. That's the biggest difference Saying that the EL still has a place but it now needs to change & the PL needs to accommodate those changes. An idea:- Elite League 10 teams 8 rider squads 5 rider teams 40.00 Team Average (ex bonus points) 13 heats No Guests or RR (IRR allowed) 9 fixtures per season (so like 6 nations rugby where fixtures alternate the following year) 5 Month Calendar (April > August) inc play-off's (Top 4) & final Fixtures to be ridden Monday's only (TV) Premier League North / South 10 rider squads 7 rider teams 45 Team Average (inc bonus points) 15 heats Home & Away once Current EL only rider averages weighted +15% Wednesday, Thursday, Friday race days only Riders competing in Polish Ekstraliga / Swedish Elitserien / Danish Speedway Liga leagues with averages over 6.00 from previous season excluded Top 2 from each region in the Play-offs March > October season -
Nobody has suggested getting rid of Huckenbeck. It's a squad this year, he's No'8 so he must be well aware of the situation. If Niels stays with Batch in the team then Huckenbeck will be available at any time to replace poor performers. That's how squads work and team managers finally have something real to deal with
-
That's true but there are mumblings that he's had a change of heart and is staying (fingers crossed)

We are that low with some spare Iversen 8.98 Batchelor 6.91 Lambert 6.43 Schlein 5.98 Korneliussen 5.72 Wilkinson 3.20 Lambert 3.11 40.33 If the reserves perform well over the next 3 fixtures that will cause the promotion a headache. The reserves then receive official averages for the minimum 2 home 2 away fixtures & will take us above 40.50 inc Batchelor
-
What do we need an average reduction for? We're nowhere near the limit as it is

Not going tomorrow Though call this result but the Stars to just edge it 46-44

Just me then, I thought for what time he was given both interviews were ok -
We understand that. So now it's 2017, would you sign Newman on a 7.00 average? Really!!

Matt Ford - No Sympathy
Daniel Smith replied to damosuzuki's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well done the BSPA Are we going to share every clubs shenanigans to even up the score a little?? They're all at it Belle Vue - The burst water pipe - 5>6000 fans in a stadium knowing no meeting was ever going to happen King's Lynn - Buster faking a heart issue to delay the start of a meeting because a rider wasn't in attendance - Unrepairable stadium electrical issue I bet everyone has a story to tell about their own club. THEY ARE ALL AT IT - FACT!! Poole are not the problem, the BSPA are. It's happening from the very top of the Elite League to the very bottom of the National League. It's about time people get their skulls around that idea. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeverything a club gets away with becomes the associations fault. That is FACT -

Matt Ford - No Sympathy
Daniel Smith replied to damosuzuki's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
People are not walking away because of Poole. They're walking because of the lack of balls by the BSPA. Credit has to go to Ford as he's the man proving time & time again how inept the BSPA & SCB are at abiding by & understanding their own rulebook & allowing incorrect interpretation -
Matt Ford - No Sympathy
Daniel Smith replied to damosuzuki's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
That reference isn't just Matt Ford though is it. There is no evidence anywhere from any other promoter that they're interested in British Speedway's future All sports & business in general is all about "What makes me the most money". Every club is looking after no'1. Matt Ford isn't Speedway's biggest cancer, it's the way the BSPA has been run as a whole over the last 20yrs. -
A lot of chat that Niels has had a change of heart (fingers crossed). In terms of who gets replaced, it's nobody as such, as Huckenbeck is No'8 so Batchelor will just slot in. Huckenbeck will then be available if and when one of the top 5 start misfiring. Nobody gets sacked

Matt Ford - No Sympathy
Daniel Smith replied to damosuzuki's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Could it be that both sides could be kind of right with the Loram argument. All sorts of shenanigans happen in negotiations. Hypothetically: Loram: I want £300pp Ford: Get back to ya Rickardsson: I want £500pp Ford: World Champion only wants £400pp Rickardsson: I might not be World Champion but by far a better rider so I'll do £380pp Ford: Done Ford puts out a press release saying Loram was more expensive to keep Rickardsson sweet thinking Loram and Rickardsson won't talk. Loram calls out knowing Rickardsson was £80pp more. In terms of negotiations Rickardsson was £20pp less So everyone goes up in arms as they only get fed one side of the story.
