I wasn't that keen on the Golden Double. I much prefer the standard Tactical Substitute from the tapes i.e. Polish rules. No double bubble at all but I suppose it's not cost affective in the current EL. Isn't it in Poland if you're more than 6 behind you can make the tactical 3 times but not with the same rider?

You should elaborate as your edit makes no sense?

Could Woffy Be Making An El Return?
Daniel Smith replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I am a woffy fan and agree with why he won't ride over here. I was being sarcastic with the line-up Not a stalker though, it's not my fault he doesn't have a blind in his bathroom window is it -
Seeing as the Leicester thread is a little boring (understandably low interest imo) maybe this may stir a few more up. Should be fairly decent box viewing Guestermate looking line-up's King's Lynn 1. Niels K Iversen 2. Mads Korneliussen 3. Robert Lambert 4. Nicolaj Busk Jakobsen 5. Scott Nicholls 6. Carl Wilkinson 7. Lewis Rose Poole 1. Hans Andersen 2. Krzysztof Buczkowski 3. Chris Holder 4. Brady Kurtz 5. Bjarne Pedersen 6. Adam Ellis 7. Josh Bates (G)

You've misunderstood what Mr Watson had said. If a none EDR is at reserve it's ANY guest up to that rider's average. If an EDR is in the 1-5 only an EDR can replace him as guest. You'll only ever have 2 EDR's in 1 team -
I know people say there should be a wall around Norfolk but won't need a visa to watch Norwich City, may need some jabs though

No, no different from the Australian's we get over here to race. Not much will change except slower clearance through customs

King's Lynn V Leicester 21/04/16 7.45pm
Daniel Smith replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
From http://www.kingslynnstars.co KING’S LYNN will look for their second successive victory as they welcome Leicester to the Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday (7.30). The Roger Warnes Transport Stars battled to a hard-fought 46-44 win over Coventry last week and will now look to claim three more Elite League points against the Lions. Leicester arrive in Norfolk having endured a tough start to the season, but they will no doubt be buoyed by their first win of 2016 against Swindon last time out. The Stars have drafted in flying Wolves racer Sam Masters as a guest for his injured Australian compatriot Rory Schlein. They will otherwise be at full strength – and experienced ace Mads Korneliussen is keen to see them build on their “solid start to the season” to come away with another win. Korneliussen said: “Apart from that defeat against Belle Vue where nothing went our way it’s been a solid start to the season for us. “It was a good win against Coventry last week. Losing Rory (Schlein) was obviously a big shame, but we are looking to get another win against Leicester. “We’ve got high hopes for this team, so hopefully we will keep on developing as the season goes on and make it to the play-offs.” Leicester have also turned to Wolverhampton for a guest with Swedish star Freddie Lindgren stepping in at No.5 in place of Sebastian Ulamek. They also operate rider replacement to cover the absence of Szymon Wozniak, with Paul Starke moving into the main body of the team and skipper Nicolai Klindt dropping to reserve. KING’S LYNN: Niels-Kristian Iversen, Mads Korneliussen, Robert Lambert, Kai Huckenbeck, Sam Masters, Carl Wilkinson, Lewis Rose. LEICESTER: Patrick Hougaard, Paul Starke, Aaron Summers, Szymon Wozniak R/R, Freddie Lindgren, Nicolai Klindt, Josh Auty. -
Don't think that's just your opinion, that would be the opinion of every Speedway fan the World over. When it's good there really is nothing that comes close to being as exciting. There's just far to many bad days right now. You go to a meeting see 1 exceptional race and shout "That was worth the admission alone". But really, should that be enough to justify the sport. Not for me. I'm now going to miss 2 (King's Lynn) home fixtures on the trot, Coventry last week & this Thursday's Leicester visit through illness. Never missed 2 on the trot before and I actually haven't missed Speedway at all. Never in the life of me have I ever felt that before. Normally I'd be itching to get back.

It's why King's Lynn don't reduce their admission for Sky matches as the numbers don't add up If we get 800 for TV matches @£17 they'd need to find another 560 spectators on top just to break even. Not likely

Leicester line-up amended ________________________________________________ The Latest News from the Lions Stars v Lions Match Preview Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 | Fixtures, News Leicester face the King’s Lynn Stars in Norfolk on Thursday without their two Polish riders Sebastian Ulamek and Szymon Wozniak who are riding in a Quarter Final of their country’s National Individual Championship that day. Team Manager Norrie Allan has elected to cover for their absences with a guest rider for Ulamek and he plans to share out Wozniak’s races between other members of the team. “Sebastian Ulamek’s current average of 6.60 has given me great scope for choice of guests and Freddie Lindgren was my first choice to replace Sebastian at King’s Lynn and as the rules stand I went with Rider Replacement for Szymon.” The fixture sees the new averages come into effect and as a result it means the first positional changes of the season for the Paul Chapman and Sons Lions. Paul Starke, who has been one of Leicester’s successes since joining the club from Poole, moves into the main body of the team to partner Patrick Hougaard with Nicolai Klindt taking his place at reserve. “Nicolai was half expecting this to happen as there was no way that his average would increase in the first month to beyond one of the reserves whose starting figures were higher. How the positional changes will alter the chemistry of the team is unknown but we will get a good idea of that at King’s Lynn and in the return fixture against the Stars at Leicester on Saturday. Hopefully, Paul can keep his scoring rate going in the more demanding role at number two and Nicolai can be our new ‘Ace in the Pack’ at reserve with Josh Auty” added Allan. The Stars are without their captain Rory Schlein who sustained a shoulder injury whilst riding against Coventry last week and the former Leicester rider Sam Masters will be a guest replacement. Teams King’s Lynn: 1. Niels-Kristian Iversen, 2. Mads Korneliussen, 3. Robert Lambert, 4. Kai Huckenbeck, 5. Sam Masters, 6. Carl Wilkinson and 7. Lewis Rose Leicester: 1. Patrick Hougaard, 2. Paul Starke, 3. Aaron Summers, 4. Rider Replacement for Szymon Wozniak, 5. Freddie Lindgren, 6. Nicolai Klindt and 7. Josh Auty -
Speedway Champions League ?
Daniel Smith replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
Of course they should. Surely these things should be in place before the event is scheduled. Really feeling for any of the clubs fans that booked up for this. -
King's Lynn's ridiculous admission fees- Elite League Fixture Prices Adults: £17.00 Military (With valid ID): £15.00 Concessions (65 Yrs +, Full Time Students, 16 & 17 Yrs & Disabled): £14.00 Juniors: £5.00 Kids Under 11: FREE 16-17 year olds & full time student admission pricing (to which the majority do not work at all) @£14 is pathetic imo. This is the age group that needs sucking in so going from 15yr @£5 - 16yr @£14 is a kick in the teeth

Atmosphere is as huge a problem than anything else. For me proof was in the pudding i.e. World Cup meetings at King's Lynn. On the backstraight a lot of us were bouncing up and down singing songs. Now, if I try to do that at King's Lynn for a league match it will be a case of "who's that d!k". Even a bit of shouting you get told to "wind it in soon". In general, Norfolk folk are a boring bunch and difficult to 'fire up'. This is also proven with the football at Norwich City. The dreary "on the ball city" is sung and to increase noise they get given clappers. CLAPPERS ffs. Norfolk for ya. After all that, for me you are correct. What makes speedway boring?- Watch a race - have a chat Watch a race - listen to crappie music Watch a race - stand and stare bored Watch a race - go have a sh!+ to kill more boredom etc etc I'd like to have some Norfolk folk that feel like me and want to get a bit singy shouty as I'm quite energetic and need to be doing something all the time. No matter how crap the racing is it would still be a good night Absolutely spot on "BRING BACK GRIPPY TRACKS"

Or you have a No'8 who can then replace any of the 1-5 at any time making no RR at all
