  1. GP Practice isn't mandatory but if you have any real GP ambition you should really be there. With Harris, he's just cannon fodder in the GP's
  2. I know what I want but it's never gonna happen. I want an Elite League the bigger tracks in it:- King's Lynn Belle Vue Swindon Coventry Leicester (once turns 1-2 are finished) Sheffield Glasgow Berwick Peterborough Isle of Wight Workington Although smaller, always prepared well: Wolverhampton Somerset Scunthorpe I was the same as you, although he locked up it didn't seem any worse than when riders were trying cutback moves lastnight. The turns are so so tight
  3. 3 point's I can remember Tai mention in an interview somewhere Fixed race night/s UK tracks need widening as far to many have narrow straights and hinder attempts at passing safely going into turns Also some tracks find it acceptable to have bumps and ruts as the norm in the UK, not acceptable
  4. Gives me control over the TV rather than the Wife's usual crap she puts on I just can't stand Lakeside as a race track, every time it's on TV it looks very poorly prepared. Saying that, there were 1-2 good races generally involving Nicholls, Bridger & Steve Worrall. Apart from that abysmal and I'm not just blaming Lakeside. This seems to be the Elite League as a whole the last couple of years. We watch 2 good races out of 15 and we use that as justification of spending £17-£18 a week. WHAT ARE WE DOING & WHY ARE WE PUTTING UP WITH THIS!!!!!!
  5. Kyle had Sepsis? That is serious and extremely lucky it was picked up quickly. Lucky lucky young man. Hopefully he's now all cleared up and back fighting fit soon, wouldn't wish that on anyone
  6. Adam Ellis can ride PL but he'd have to bin Eastbourne
  7. 1 good race does not quantify a good meeting. Absolutely no excuse for the track to be in the condition it is.
  8. I'm so pleased to see King's Lynn's Tom Stokes given a shot at PL. Go get'um lad
  9. That's very true but that's exactly the way I'm gonna stay as that's how I've developed. No good looking rough, then filling yourself with sh!+€ and look worse hey for about £20k
  10. I did something similar at Mildenhall once. Bought fish n chips in the stadium before meeting started, took them back to the car, watched the meeting, drove home then microdinged them. Were still the dogs
  11. Belle Vue are only showing 1 DU rider on the averages in Richie Worrall
  12. Woffy has also appeared on: Skysports with A Life of Tai Skysports kids program Game Changers Been on Talksport with Colin Murray as a co-presenter BT Sports on various different shows BBC Breakfast TV He's far and away done his bit of TV too
  13. Is it just me but I actually preferred the 1 hour slot with all the races than the Live league meetings, including Skysports.
  14. He has, and even appeared on A Question of Sport as World Champion & motor show Fifth Gear.
  15. looking forward to this while I'm off work on the sick. An afternoon live meeting, lovely jubbly
  16. He was bottling it, ample opportunities to make passes in a couple of races but shut off. He didn't make a mistake while leading, other riders were getting to close so politely moved aside for them. Exactly how he rode for us last season. I tell you now, put him in your side and you'll want to throttle him after a couple of weeks. throws away so many valuable points as he has no nerve
  17. Whilst i appreciate what you say in riders having speedway as a second job would this then not create an even bigger problem of rider availability? Businesses are very different & demanding these days of employee's time. 9-5 jobs that you can leave early to race bikes 4 hours away will be extremely difficult to achieve Correct, in the 21st century it just isn't possible to go backwards
  18. not just Swindon, we need a strong EL & hopefully we're seeing a start to it. Although it's started a bit rough we have Belle Vue with the new stadium. Strongest footings: Poole Belle Vue Wolverhampton Swindon King's Lynn Leicester Coventry
  19. If anyone watched Eurosport's Swedish Speedway today you'll see bottler Bjerre still at it. Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole right now
  20. will be interesting if Kelv can remain impartial or will he have a phone to the referee under the monitor. During adverts give the referee a blasting
