  1. You should be running the BSPA So, not only are you anti-Tai you also want to spoil every other British rider's chance of a career.
  2. It is but as Schlein said Thursday night, we always seem to have 2 different poor scoring riders a meeting. We just never all seem to click as a team.
  3. I seems nobody knows the rules all round. Refere'es Team Manage'rs Promote'rs Supporte'rs Even the rule book doesn't know what it's own rules are 2016 is a fook up all round
  4. Will still say, no matter how well rules are written there will always be a loophole to find. Nothing is ever fool proof
  5. Haven't seen a thread for this. Should be an ok Sky fixture if the weather plays ball. Still expect a Wolverhampton win by 15+ be we have riders capable of mixing it and creating some enjoyable races
  6. Well, that's the info I was given. It makes sense not to allow assessed riders to reserve but as you say, Woryna has been. Could imagine the shouting had Woryna been knocking in double figures before his move to reserve on an assessed average. I think the rule "17.4.1.1 A declared #8, can be used as a replacement at any time for a #1 to #5 Team Member" is badly worded and would that surprise you? Doesn't me. I assume #1 to #5 are the rider's excluding EDR's at all times
  7. To be clear, I'm not defending Chapman on anything 2016. 2016 has been run like total dog s#!+e and things ain't all that rosy in his own back yard with attendances dropping like flies. I've been very critical of that, so I'm not one to be just viewing through my blue & yellow tinted glasses. All I'm saying is that he's asked to be judged from what happens in 2017 and I think that's fair to do as he'd made that clear from the very start.
  8. And he's right. I do feel Keith Chapman has washed his hands of everything 2016. He did say from the very start that he'd of done thing's very different had he been leading the 2016 AGM & to judge him on 2017. Having said it in his very first press release I think it's fair to give him that chance. The Craig Cook shenanigans seem to have been left to Rob Godfrey to deal with. The Richard Hall situation I think the BSPA (whoever took charge of it) made the right call but that's down to just opinion. What I can say, from various press releases & interviews Chapman is already working on 2017.
  9. Jakobsen is out injured or was anyway but agree about Simon. When available would do a better job than Wilkinson at the moment.
  10. The risk is still there signing them though. Depending on their form or clubs results they get called for practice at any time. Facts are, British Speedway can't start making demands on Polish rider's. If teams want to use them, it's at risk.
  11. What you're demanding is exactly the problem with the BSPA past. We can't start again demanding what league foreign riders race in. It's why (rightly so) that the BSPA moved is stance on the Danish league. Every teams promotion knows the risk of using Polish rider's. If the Polish team demands practice then that's what the Polish rider has to do. Leicester were warned many times about running Saturday's. The situation they find themselves in is purely and simply Leicester promotions fault only.
  12. It is his point correct. But the rule book regarding No'8s is abysmal. Hence why I asked Rob Lyon and that's what I got back.
  13. For once I'm quite shocked you're not getting it Huckenbeck will be able to go to reserve once his official average goes live. Until then, if he replaces Jakobsen he has to be in the main body. Is not difficult. No assessed rider in the 1-5 or No'8 can be a reserve until they gain an official average. Simple
  14. I thought the same. Kennett was DU partner with Lawson so with Kennett taking Swiderski's place that's a team change not just a squad rotation.
  15. I think it's quite clear how the situation with No'8s work No rider with an assessed average in the 1-5 can ride at reserve including the No'8s It's the initial season starting 1-5 a No'8 can replace excluding the EDR's irrespective of their position in the team If the assessed No'8 replaces a rider that's dropped to reserve the No'8 has to be in the main body of the team Simple & confirmed by Rob Lyon Copy & paste this and ask him direct on Twitter.
  16. You're right about the track, the best I've seen in for a while. Looked to have a decent amount of dirt on it for a change, very consistent. Think that's one of the reasons Huckenbeck was uncomfortable. He certainly wouldn't be use to that amount of grip anywhere
  17. What racer X has there is correct. It was then altered to the 1st TR at 8 or more points down, 2nd TR at 10 or more points down
  18. Think it's the same as most clubs, not seeing value for money £17 to just watch the racing isn't enough & punters feel poorly treated Atmosphere is the dullest it's ever been Racing (except last night) has been exceptionally dull
  19. There is a lot of understandable negativity around King's Lynn right now and the sport as a whole. Only the promoter's can change that.
  20. The biggest concern last night for me was the crowd. It looked quite a substantial drop to normal numbers for what was a big fixture against the Robins Are the fans fed up Or was it down to being a rearranged fixture
  21. I'd go with Josh Bailey or Tom Stokes but use Simon Lambert wherever possible as he's our 3rd reserve. Absolutely nothing to lose compared to what we've got now imo.
  22. Bit the bullet and went in the end, glad I did. Half decent meeting. Iversen was sublime and a 15 point max and not all FTG. In fact, I can't remember him making a gate at all. I can see where Swindon fans are happy with 2 points but all in all, they actually threw away 2 points. They should have left with all 4. At the end, it was a terrific point for the Stars. 3-4 good races tonight plus 1 outstanding bit of riding from Lambert in heat 15 against Doyle. Out of the top draw, put back in the bottom draw and out the top draw again. What a race, loved it. For me, I don't see why we're persevering with Wilkinson. He has to go, I'd rather promote another lad from the Young Stars and use Simon Lambert when he's available. Mads was poor with 1 good race and Huckenbeck was abysmal. Batchelor stay for his first home meeting. Thank god Iversen decided to stay, what an absolutely abysmal team we'd of been without him. Right now, Korneliussen, Huckenbeck and Wilkinson must have question marks over their futures. Korneliussen might be saved by the fact his away performances are generally quite good.
