  1. For once I'm quite shocked you're not getting it Huckenbeck will be able to go to reserve once his official average goes live. Until then, if he replaces Jakobsen he has to be in the main body. Is not difficult. No assessed rider in the 1-5 or No'8 can be a reserve until they gain an official average. Simple
  2. I thought the same. Kennett was DU partner with Lawson so with Kennett taking Swiderski's place that's a team change not just a squad rotation.
  3. I think it's quite clear how the situation with No'8s work No rider with an assessed average in the 1-5 can ride at reserve including the No'8s It's the initial season starting 1-5 a No'8 can replace excluding the EDR's irrespective of their position in the team If the assessed No'8 replaces a rider that's dropped to reserve the No'8 has to be in the main body of the team Simple & confirmed by Rob Lyon Copy & paste this and ask him direct on Twitter.
  4. You're right about the track, the best I've seen in for a while. Looked to have a decent amount of dirt on it for a change, very consistent. Think that's one of the reasons Huckenbeck was uncomfortable. He certainly wouldn't be use to that amount of grip anywhere
  5. What racer X has there is correct. It was then altered to the 1st TR at 8 or more points down, 2nd TR at 10 or more points down
  6. Think it's the same as most clubs, not seeing value for money £17 to just watch the racing isn't enough & punters feel poorly treated Atmosphere is the dullest it's ever been Racing (except last night) has been exceptionally dull
  7. There is a lot of understandable negativity around King's Lynn right now and the sport as a whole. Only the promoter's can change that.
  8. The biggest concern last night for me was the crowd. It looked quite a substantial drop to normal numbers for what was a big fixture against the Robins Are the fans fed up Or was it down to being a rearranged fixture
  9. I'd go with Josh Bailey or Tom Stokes but use Simon Lambert wherever possible as he's our 3rd reserve. Absolutely nothing to lose compared to what we've got now imo.
  10. Bit the bullet and went in the end, glad I did. Half decent meeting. Iversen was sublime and a 15 point max and not all FTG. In fact, I can't remember him making a gate at all. I can see where Swindon fans are happy with 2 points but all in all, they actually threw away 2 points. They should have left with all 4. At the end, it was a terrific point for the Stars. 3-4 good races tonight plus 1 outstanding bit of riding from Lambert in heat 15 against Doyle. Out of the top draw, put back in the bottom draw and out the top draw again. What a race, loved it. For me, I don't see why we're persevering with Wilkinson. He has to go, I'd rather promote another lad from the Young Stars and use Simon Lambert when he's available. Mads was poor with 1 good race and Huckenbeck was abysmal. Batchelor stay for his first home meeting. Thank god Iversen decided to stay, what an absolutely abysmal team we'd of been without him. Right now, Korneliussen, Huckenbeck and Wilkinson must have question marks over their futures. Korneliussen might be saved by the fact his away performances are generally quite good.
  11. Just to add to this thread, Keith Chapman has promised us a League sponsor for 2017 saying all is in place. If I was to make a guess, I'd go with Adrian Flux Insurance who have been Speedway friendly recently. Current sponsors of the British GP Current stadium sponsor at King's Lynn We'll have to wait and see I suppose
  12. Just to hand you a spanner to have a go at a working engine, we are still having to rely on the other voting clowns though
  13. Mr Chapman does not like double points if that's any comfort to you
  14. Getting the big names is not the be all & end all of fixing British Speedway. The big names are completely irrelevant. British Speedway needs to create it's own big names and we could be heading in the right direction with that already. Some great promise coming through, Robert Lambert, Dan Bewley & Jack Parkinson-Blackburn to name 3 The issue is and has always been the organisation of the BSPA in helping these kids out. The rules is absolutely the right place to start to fix all evils, then hopefully things move in the right direction from there on in.
  15. Troy Batchelor #7⃣5⃣ ‏ @batchattack75 6m6 minutes ago My DHL xpress delivery 2 engines hasn't turned up and they can't find them right now. Digging though the shed thinkin what can I ride 2night  0000 tonight then
  16. I was gonna say something similar Poorly written = complicated surely?!?
  17. The GP's will always be individual. I'm treating the pairs like the F1 Constructors championship but the current sponsors as mentioned earlier are nonsense except for Monster but it could change. I'll give it a chance
  18. So, are you calling fans of F1's Ferrari, Mercedes & Redbull dumb?? Are you calling fans of MotoGP's Movistar Yamaha, Repsol Honda & Monster Yamaha Tech 3 dumb?? There are many millions of fans that follow & support team brands rather than just the individual riders, don't see how or why Speedway should be different. Speedway soon could actually be more interesting with engine manufacturers Monster GM Redbull Jawa McDonalds Gerhard Google Godden Lets give it a couple of seasons & see what happens I say
  19. This was to be my 2nd league meeting of the season as feeling better from illness, but I'm actually sitting thinking I can't be bothered
  20. It's a new concept for the sport. If it does grow & I see no reason why it may not, the brands may become bigger corporations, especially if they're trying to crack none speedway related countries. The brands then become necessary. If done well over then coming seasons it could be a winner.
  21. Correct, Tai only picked up the Monster sponsorship half way through last years GP series on his way to the 2nd World Championship
  22. To be fair, I think the awarding of the ELRC this season is more of a 'Farewell gesture' from British Speedway than the tracks top notch.
  23. Annoyingly I missed yesterdays meeting on Eurosport. No doubt it was the best meeting yet too??
  24. Yep, so that's Tai not doing the British Finals again next year with Tai responding with the anker gesture
