  1. Speedibee is right but as per this thread, people are now interested in robert72. Here is a poster declaring they're a former rider, lined up against World Champions, wasn't rubbish, laying bets, saying they'll speak to riders to let his feelings known etc. On a forum, to come out with all that and not back it up people are going to keep picking and guessing. After all, it's a Speedway forum and he's a former 'Speedway rider'.
  2. What on earth have you taken from that interview? Having read it the headline should have been "Janowski being polite to Bournemouth Echo reporter so sits on the fence about Elite League return". That was an absolutely 'no news' article.
  3. What utter nonsense We rocked up at Belle Vue a couple of weeks back and raced on a completely soaked track with half a team.
  4. The BSPA banned all British rider's from competing as they don't recognise SEC as an official series. Robert Lambert competed on his German licence and Schlein was the only other rider willing to race for GB who wasn't a GB national.
  5. Is been explained to you before. The Australian schooling system did teach & sing their national anthem at young ages. At primary age, this is when it would have been drilled into Woffinden. He probably (like me) don't know the words to the British / English national anthem
  6. Also add announcer for Peterborough Panthers too I believe as a previous job
  7. But he has no need to respond to that post because Dazzafl has already told everyone very early on he's Darren Fletcher, the one very close to Tai Woffinden who had a bet about wearing a suit for the British GP. Even copied in the Facebook post Keep up
  8. NL rider at No2 unfavourable tricky track conditions, great call to go again another time. Still not forgetting with a heat to go at the AFA the Lions got the meeting abandoned while getting thrashed. Maybe the management haven't forgotten
  9. Was it R/R for Simon do you know? Leicester had R/R for Starke last night so that smells a little funny
  10. Josh Bates withdrawn from his guest booking for the Stars Nathan Greaves comes in as a replacement at No'2
  11. Think it was established some time ago that it's Robert Homer This is what I can find regarding the glittering career 1989..Coventry (British League 2) 1989..Coventry..1m..4r..1p..0b..1.00ave (British League 1) 1991..Sheffield Cubs (Junior League) 1992..Sheffield..5m..18r..6p..2b..1.78 (British League 2) 1993..Sheffield..4m..12r..6p..1b..2.33 (British League 2) To find the World Champion?!?! he rode against you need to find the 1 Coventry fixture in 1989
  12. So, were do people think we're at in making the Play-Off's? Is the growth in optimism a false dawn? The remaining fixtures: Away: Poole x2 - All others once more Home: Poole x2 Swindon Wolverhampton Lakeside Looking at the remaining home fixtures there's still some potential home defeats on the cards and we're 6 points off a Play-Off spot
  13. The 1 thing that will make things tough for the Stars that were evident from Thursday night. Gating, our track offered a route to pass, Leicester's is less likely to do so. We are the stronger team by a mile but do let ourselves down with our gating often. 46-44 either way
  14. Round 1 (Vojens, Denmark) Russia (Red) 1 Grigori Laguta 2 Emil Sayfutdinov Poland (Blue) 2 Patryk Dudek 4 Bartosz Zmarzlik Czech Republic (White) 1 Josef Franc 4 Vaclav Milik Denmark (Yellow) 2 Leon Madsen 4 Niels-Kristian Iversen Round 2 (Vastervik, Sweden) Australia (Red) 3 Max Fricke 4 Jason Doyle USA (Blue) 1 Greg Hancock 2 Ryan Fisher Germany (White) 1 Kevin Wolbert 2 Kai Huckenbeck Sweden (Yellow) 1 Antonio Lindback 2 Fredrik Lindgren
  15. And it should have been worse for Leicester. The only shining lights were Wozniak (would love to see him in Stars colours) & Starke. Again thought Rose was brilliant tonight in the main body and it is nice to see Batchelor come to life. When he's up for it he's great to watch Play-Off charge is on
  16. Pretty sure that'll be a Redbull sponsored promo thing as they'd done it before, going up a mountain I think it was
  17. I've been told your team is right. I guess just wait until we rock up and it's announced
  18. Wilkinson will ride under his own team position / average in reserve as he's still a team member. Lewis Rose will move into the main team as his average is higher than Jakobsen's 1. Iversen 2. Rose 3. Schlein 4. Batchelor 5. Lambert 6. Jakobsen 7. Wilkinson
  19. Wilkinson isn't dropped by anyone, he remains a squad member. Lambert's average is higher than Rose's so counts towards the teams total. Because Rose has the lowest of the Tier 2 averages he's the rider effectively replacing Wilkinson Teams can choose either a squad member or guest for a injured EDR's and we've gone with a guest Nothing to see here
  20. Marmande is on the FIM calendar http://www.fim-live.com/en/sport/calendar/international-long-grass-track-racing-meetings/
  21. I think Poole have been dealt a harsh blow there. If there's a sick note for tonight, it's irrelevant if he rides tomorrow or not. It's about today
  22. In your opinion. I repeat, it's not Tai's job or any sports person / celebrity etc to be a role model. They're individual people like everyone else that have worked hard & earned the rights to extra privileges. If any child uses any form of celebrity as role models then the parents have failed. Tai's tattoo's, ears, face, shoes, fingernails, foul language etc have no barring on influencing youngsters. This is Speedway and it's his Speedway that does the talking, I have no doubt he'll be idolised by some but only for his Speedway because he's bloody good at it It's a very sad if he has to be prejudiced against because of his appearance. Those prejudices are no different to jibes given to over / under weight people. In fact, those prejudices are actually more offensive than the "Make some fookin noise" speech he made as he wasn't being derogatory to anyone.
