  1. Match sticks are wedged in. Robert Lambert is the only thing keeping me watching to be honest
  2. Jack Holder hammering into a tin of Monster in front of camera during the World U21's. Rider's do drink it, good lads
  3. There wasn't much contact, Fricke's front wheel just seemed to collapse and wiped both out
  4. A looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong evening ahead. Getting bored now to be fair
  5. With you there, saved myself £25 Poor refereeing that in heat 2. Blue should have been excluded
  6. I'd go with the first 4 on your list and Ellis. Ellis has always had a liking for the King's Lynn circuit. Honestly know nothing about the rest
  7. Opinions are divided on this forum, no problem with that. It's not clear he's an unpopular British World Champion though. We'll wait for the reaction at Cardiff and the SWC, that'll be far more telling on his popularity. Robert72 is clearly only stating his own opinion and speaking for everybody else
  8. Thanks to those with a more constructive response Will get my money out but there's meant to be a rain shower about 4pm so will wait and see what or if that delivers
  9. Still trying to convince myself if this will be worth paying for. £20 for u21's that only has 3-4 competitive rider's.
  10. Just on that point, Matt Ford has stated that he wants his track to run more league meeting. He believes more is needed not less & is fully aware that he may not see the GP guys no longer. For once, the promoters are trying to look at what's best for British Speedway as a whole and the majority seem to be agreeing more fixtures, 6 man teams & possibly lose the higher earners is the way forward. The promoters have stated this will be trialled in front of fans to before being rubber stamped The only issue I see going forward is the fact this could stifle British riders futures. If Premier League standard is the aim, what does that do for the younger riders i.e. Robert Lambert's etc who by 2018 should be past that standard. Are these guys going to have to give up British Speedway ala Tai Woffinden to better themselves.
  11. If they were that bad surely AshTec should take a hit on some of that cost? I certainly wouldn't pay him or anyone else for poor workmanship
  12. The above podcast is now live after a short delay https://www.acast.com/homestraight/episodesixfeaturingspecialguestdannyking
  13. About opinion and in mine Ellis is a better rider all round Yes Bates is British Champ but that was around his home track. He most certainly isn't better than Lambert but got lucky in the final
  14. Nicholls is ripping it up so much in the Swedish league he's 41st in the averages scoring 40 points from 30 rides. 5.33 average in British Speedway. Not that great really is it?? I don't get why people keep selecting Lambert as reserve either, it makes no sense at all as the reserve can only replace ill or injured riders.
  15. Do Coventry press releases never put the rider's in team order? Protection against people printing their own racecards?
  16. None of the current Swindon side is worth dropping for Davey Watt, jeez man!!!! Watt is on worse form than any of the Swindon side + Watt wants a PL side next season so it's not likely he'll be looking to improve his form. Any side that takes him on have no ambition imo
