I hate the 4,3,2,0 scoring system. Rider's should always be looking to win races. Winning heats by being 2nd & 3rd I don't get, especially as no riders tend to team ride these days.
Most of the time a team comes out on top with the standard 3,2,1,0.
I do agree though that a format riding as a team in pairs would be better
I certainly didn't expect the Aussies to fire like they did and did I hear it correct that the whole team were running PJR engines? It showed if they were.
I originally believed GB would be competitive but now not sure as only Woffinden and Cook (I think) use PJR.
Lambert will be running the sluggish BAR and no idea what King uses, self tuned in the shed engine maybe.
We'll score more than America obviously but Poland, Sweden and Australia have quality top to bottom.
I think we'll end up around the 25 point mark
So the bikes & suits ain't the only things to change in the last 30 years then
I think this whole thing about laydowns being more unpredictable is nonesense. Things move on over time and if a modern engine was produced in an upright fashion I'd have no doubt it'd be pretty much the same performance wise.
Doyle can say what he likes, the Aussies won't be making the final anyway
Looks like sporadic rain showers today right up to tapes up time with the same for Saturday too
As this year the Poles ran fixtures on the Sunday after Cardiff. They would do the same again and the riders would rather be there earning €€€€€'s rather the pennies the BSPA would put out.
The Sunday meeting in Warsaw a PZM meeting and not BSI remember
Absolutely 100% disagree
Fricke is way ahead of Lambert right now and the leagues he's racing in doesn't lie
Elitserien
Fricke - 7.16
Lambert - 4.89
Ekstraliga
Fricke - 6.54
Lambert - No Team
Elite League
Fricke - 7.13
Lambert - 6.95
