  1. Sounds like a very proud Brit to me http://monsterenergyswc.com/news/article/5028/swc/woffy-hails-cardiff-crowd
  2. Should be a thrashing, if we score anything less than 55 points it'll be disappointing
  3. The M.E.N. Manchester has the largest permanent seating capacity at around 19,500
  4. It seems Coventry fans missed the point & opportunity of last night. There's no better way of showing support than live on TV. As I's already said, it was a night to put aside how crap the team & management are but to support the stadium use. An opportunity to make a nuisance behind the Sky studio, invade the track to wave banners & flags etc. I'm sure the fans could of found £10 for the night and stuck their fingers up to the management for the rest of the season. The 'Save' campaign may as well just give up, a chance missed imo
  5. Serious head time: On any normal Sky meeting night I can fully understand why people don't go but tonight wasn't a normal night. It was highly promoted and not just by the club, as an ideal time to show support for the the stadium and the Bees to remain in front of live TV. Thoughts about the team, the management etc should have been put aside for 1 night but instead it came across as the Bees fans couldn't give a flying fig about their future. If any of the stadium owners, potential builders, council management etc were watching they'd be like "let's just get those houses built". Feel for the people running the 'Save' campaign tonight, a real kick in the teeth for their efforts. Pathetic
  6. Oh my giddy aunt........ Breaaaaaaaaaaaaath I was expecting to have a right flip out on here but Batchelor saved the day. Cancelled or the home defeat to the Bees so onwards and upwards and hopefully R.Lambert is fit for Thursday as R/R won't work
  7. I bet there are some but you know what it's like, you don't want to be the only one and feel a wally so they'll keep em' in their jackets
  8. How's the weather holding up? Heavy rain was expected, has it been and gone or still to arrive?
  9. The thing with F1, Tennis, Football, MotoGP, Cricket etc etc, to put a spin on it, all these sports put their members through Media Etiquette training. Speedway just doesn't offer it because the varying different angles riders go off on, they're pretty much alone. Who has the responsibility to cover that cost? Not everybody is natural in front of a camera / crowd. Pretty much all speedway riders when interviewed look awkward because it's not natural. Tai was absolutely buzzing when he was on the podium and with the microphone thrust in his face at his home GP he wanted to hear the crowd noise and the f-word came out. In the grand scheme of things, it's no big deal but if these guys had the same training as all other sports it would help with these situations.
  10. Tai isn't a perfect role model and neither should he be. It's not his job to be a role model. We defend because he's constantly attacked & it's British mentality thing for some reason. Always love a loser but knock down winners Andy Murray Lewis Hamilton Tai Woffinden All 3 are born winners but are not liked by large numbers for varying reasons.
  11. realised what you'd done on your original post hey, I won't say I promise
  12. Agree with both statements but it counts for nothing with what's happening right now. No time for sentiment, Harris out
  13. What a fookin legend On the title charge WOFFY WOFFY WOFFY
  14. Anyone really think Harris should be in. He's a laughing stock, total embarrassment
  15. It looks like the riders ain't too pleased either. Interesting......... To us fans it looked the obvious thing to happen. Raises a question over team spirit for me as only Batchelor has 'Liked' Rory's tweet & none of the riders have congratulated Rory on his return. Again, interesting.........
  16. Our views are different regarding Woffy and they're always likely to be, but SRBF idea was a great call so I've asked the question with Rosco
  17. If we somehow miraculously made the play-offs we need to be careful who we use as EDR guests. Remember, you can only use 1 rider 4 times so Morris I'd not use for that reason. I see absolutely no harm in throwing in a Josh Bailey, Nathan Greaves, Jake Knight etc. Going very well in the NL and I'd certainly give them a shot at it
  18. Regardless of your views, that is a bloody good idea
  19. Bringing Rory in for Mads was an obvious move. We're in the poop at reserve though and that's the concern. S.Lambert is going to be a big big miss
