  1. Get in there The Aces Brings the Stars back in the race
  2. Correct and he's the only person that can call a halt to the meeting but he can only do that with the agreement of all parties as I'd stated. The referee can't simply say enough is enough if any party believes the meeting can continue. Last night that came down to just the King's Lynn management, everybody else wanted out.
  3. Not sure that's quite true though Here's the referee's duties This basically confirms that all parties have to be in agreement for a postponement. A lot of the responsibility of the nonsense last night was our own promotions doing
  4. No idea where you stand / sit but there were a lot of fans shouting call it off after heat 1. It was terrible yet we had to suffer 2 hours of nothing and Buster is accountable for that.
  5. Yes it was like it on the track walk with glorious blazing sunshine and 28°C heat. The rain followed, track unracable
  6. As a Stars fan, will be looking for this to be an away win & suck Swindon back into top 4 trouble with then after tonight just 3 home fixtures remaining. Wolverhampton, Belle Vue & Poole look certs for top 4 now. 4th looks a tight one between Swindon, Lakeside & King's Lynn
  7. Anyone hear what Buster had to say on Radio Norfolk this morning, around 8.30ish??
  8. Been advised by the authorities to name his team by this weekend. Not his own decision
  9. People keep saying Buster spoke to Schlein appallingly. Can't just leave it at that, what was said to be so bad?
  10. Rosco announced tonight at King's Lynn the team will be known by this weekend
  11. Rosco announced tonight at King's Lynn the team will be known by this weekend
  12. Buster have the usual spiel that it was the riders fault, totally unacceptable from the BSPA chairman. The track was a mess straight after the rain and Buster would have normally took the top surface off. But no, proceeded to turn the start gate into a swap pit so then had to mess about fixing that. Then tried dragging sludge off turn 3. Then decided to blade the track at almost 9pm. At this point a substantial number of fans decided to leave, not at all surprised by that. Rider's did try to give it a go but the track just couldn't be raced on. In all honesty, totally embarrassing for King's Lynn Speedway tonight. Shambles by the promotion and the riders I will stick up for tonight. My heart was Speedway, I now feel I've just bled to death Full refund is available at the ticket office or entrance to any remaining Stars fixture
  13. Absolutely agree. Absolutely disgraceful We've turned into a farce of a club with the focus completely removed from the paying public
  14. Perfect conditions here in Norfolk at the moment. The track will have plenty of grip which will suit both teams. On paper the King's Lynn 7 looks the stronger but our team never seem to all click together. I personally feel tonight's result relies on whether Huckenbeck turns up or not. Stars to win, Swindon to take a point 46-44
  15. In your opinion & in the minority it's the right thing to do
  16. Nah, the actual Speedway stuff has been boring. This is totally adding entertainment to the forum Keep it coming lads & lasses
  17. With you on that, Jakobsen should be used when available. Saying that, Huckenbeck has an opportunity tonight to put things right and as a fan, we need the win so he has to.
  18. KING’S Lynn can give their play-off push a major shot in the arm with a win against Swindon at the Adrian Flux Arena on Wednesday (7.30). The Roger Warnes Transport Stars have reignited their top four ambitions with back to back wins including a tremendous away triumph at Coventry. They will now go in search of three more vital points to close the gap on fourth-placed Lakeside to just two points. Team boss Rob Lyon knows they can ill-afford any more slip-ups on home shale – and he is backing them to claim another important win. Said Lyon: “We go into the meeting with a fair bit of confidence in the camp after our two wins last week. “I certainly hope that after those two results we can keep our chances of a play-off place alive, starting on Wednesday. “This is a key match, probably more so for us than Swindon I would say, and we’re totally focused on winning the meeting. “There’s a good feel about the team at the moment, but ultimately it comes down to results.” The Stars have re-introduced German ace Kai Huckenbeck into their side for the meeting at the expense of Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen. Huckenbeck slots into the No.2 spot, with Kyle Howarth guesting at reserve in place of the injured Simon Lambert. Meanwhile, Swindon bring in Joe Jacobs to guest for Stefan Nielsen at reserve as they aim to bounce back from a crushing 62-30 defeat at Wolverhampton on Monday. KING’S LYNN: Niels-Kristian Iversen, Kai Huckenbeck, Rory Schlein, Troy Batchelor, Robert Lambert, Kyle Howarth, Lewis Rose. SWINDON: Jason Doyle, Rohan Tungate, Justin Sedgmen, Nick Morris, Josh Grajczonek, Charles Wright, Joe Jacobs
  19. Buster never opens the gates and let's people in for a rain off does he I like the fact King's Lynn called it off so we didn't get a tonking. At least we didn't go to heat 9 and then get it called off because we were getting thrashed.
  20. Off the top of my head just 1 I believe. Rory Schlein
  21. Speedibee is right but as per this thread, people are now interested in robert72. Here is a poster declaring they're a former rider, lined up against World Champions, wasn't rubbish, laying bets, saying they'll speak to riders to let his feelings known etc. On a forum, to come out with all that and not back it up people are going to keep picking and guessing. After all, it's a Speedway forum and he's a former 'Speedway rider'.
