  1. Star Lady to sing the National Anthem at the NSS this weekend. Make it happen
  2. I'm with you guys: I hate the rules but can't help when something crops up I love looking it up I hate the current EL format but love talking about it I hate the way the sport is run but love keeps me coming back I hate the way my club is run but the love it too It's a fully blown love hate relationship. Speedway, 1 in a million
  3. Just to cheer up robert72, Woffy was getting a tattooing done today
  4. Practice sessions are less about track time and more about team camaraderie. Just meeting up for the Race-Off isn't enough in my opinion
  5. Ruml was used last season by USA at King's Lynn. Should have gone with him again unless the financial situation had changed
  6. Plenty, especially at the start of the season when there's no Poland or Sweden In the Elite Pairs on the Saturday you could have all EL sides plus guest teams like Piraterna, Vetlanda, Wroclaw, TorĂ¹n etc.
  7. It could work but it'll have to be run early season prior to the Polish Ekstraliga starting. Could be Elite Pairs on the Saturday ELRC on the Sunday Other than that it's simply not possible in the calendar
  8. It just occurred to me on a serious note, with you being such an advocate of the SRBF did you suffer any bad injuries in your time? It would make sense to why it would bother you as to why riders don't do it
  9. Depends how you see long term planning. A rider going out and learning on trick tracks could be good for the future
  10. Agree, Ford cherry picks talent where the riders development has nothing to do with Poole IMO. They're pretty much ready made riders From Premier League to Elite League, there's not a lot in it in terms of stardards For me, the rider's don't further develop until they hit the Polish Ekstraliga & or Swedish Elitserien It's the same at King's Lynn with Robert Lambert. I do not believe he's improved from riding the EL compared to the PL. I think he's improved this season because he's had tasters of the Elitserien league, especially his gating.
  11. No other options really. Best 5 picked
  12. I too understand where shovvy is coming from. Until Emil is back in the GP series he'll just become 'the forgotten man'. The SEC is just a massive pay cheque with no renowned status. Enjoyable TV but means very little, the standard of rider is poor apart from 3-4 riders.
  13. We certainly can win all our home fixtures, a tough ask but we can. 1 away fixture against Leicester left to run. We can pick up the odd away point for keeping it within 6. It's madness to rule us out with 4 matches in hand on Swindon & Lakeside.
  14. The Revolution Speedway Rob Painter? Where does the 72 fit in?
  15. Absolutely, he deserves at least a phone call but I'm not sure Buster is the type of guy to apologise. Buster is a 'tomorrow's another day' type of guy and what's happened is forgotten and moves on quickly. Edit: The next fixtures - August 4th @Swindon August 10th @Poole August 11th home Poole
  16. The only thing we have to hope is we have some team spirit left. After Wednesday that could easily have been destroyed by our promoter
  17. You laugh but I can picture come the Play-offs an EDR will have a sudden injury and Simon Stead will be used
  18. Clearly wasn't there on Wednesday then? I think you'll find all 14 riders didn't want to know it was just that Schlein took the abuse from Buster
  19. What a complete joke. 2 very experienced EL riders allowed to guest for EDR's Horrendous if this is allowed to happen, the whole integrity of the EDR system destroyed
  20. If anyone is remotely interested the Play-off chase is certainly on after Swindon lose at home tonight. What's to be seen though is if we have a team, togetherness and will to win left.
