  1. Sums Up State Of Speedway Today: Closed for the winter, starts again in March
  2. I don't agree, Heaver sounded pretty sincere & believable. Horton has been stalling & changing agreements. The crux of it all is Horton couldn't afford to run speedway alone at £350,000 a season. Horton is the problem here
  3. They had no choice to do that. Tomorrow is their last day as lease holders. If they didn't get their property removed by then Horton gets the lot for free, that isn't right or fair
  4. So Jeremy Heaver states: Sandhu was a major part in Horton getting the lease at a reduced cost of just £50,000 per year Sandhu was an integral part of getting the sponsorship packages agreed for next season Stox have been trying to agree a deal for 16 weeks but Horton keeps changing the position Horton was warned that if a deal isn't agreed with Stox the fixture & fitting will be removed by 30th November These fixture & fittings were set aside to be used as & when a new stadium could be found The running costs of the stadium per year is £300,000 to which Sandhu is prepared to underwrite If a deal can be reached by tonight between the Bees & Stox Sandhu will replace everything at his own cost
  5. Never trust a Horton & Sandhu gets his housing wish Another question, how much sponsorship has Coventry mopped up for 2017? The whole situation absolutely stinks Extremely sorry to all the Bees supporters
  6. Correct, 2016 riders not starting 2017 will just use existing real averages, there's no other option. I see a large number of team changes in May/June
  7. If a team can cram in 4 home and 4 away fixtures in March good luck to them
  8. Must be a new foreigner for the last spot. If not then Adam Roynon or Sam Simota are the best bets
  9. http://www.poolepirates.co/news/2016-11-29-triple-switch-for-nicolai.html " I've seen it written by promoters talking about riders being able to increase averages in 2017, but in fact I believe fewer than 5 riders will achieve this due to us starting on a 50 point average, but reverting to a 42 average in May. Of course by this time riders would have achieved truer reflection, and almost all riders will see a decrease. However in Nicolai's case, I feel he will break the trend and actually increase his starting average.
  10. Klindt a Pirate I'm amazed Wolves are happy to allow that
  11. With Klindt now confirmed I think Poole are in a strong position. Matt also states that in May the team averages will revert to a 42, the first confirmation of that from anyone
  12. I believe there is now only 1 mod and that's the site owner so it's their perogative what they see fit.
  13. Monster Daz is another poster that needs no interaction with, clearly out to cause trouble
  14. Holder 12.53 Lambert 8.92 Batch 7.36 Porsing 6.99 Rose 6.12 Huckenbeck 5.14 Bailey 2.05 49.11
  15. Seats matter to a lot of Speedway supporters because they're required to attend. Right now the main stand will be closed to the public because it poses an health and safety risk. No doubt the inside of that main stand will look like it's been ransacked if the rest is anything to go by. It really looks like a real sorry state of affairs right now. Health and safety will have a big say on how 2017 goes, Horton may have no say on it at all
  16. Absolutely, in fact Dale has more experience than what Rob had when he took over 1st team duties. I didn't have a scooby who Rob was, someone just said he was on of Topinka's sponsors. I see no reason not to give Dale the chance.
  17. So, something like??: 1. Nilsson 9.63 2. Rose 6.12 3. Schlein © 7.17 4. Porsing 6.99 5. Lambert 8.92 6. Kerr 5.98 7. Huckenbeck 5.14 Ave: 49.95
  18. Other possible choices instead of Wolbert: Thomsen 8.29 Wozniak 8.27 Michelsen 7.94
  19. 1. Lambert 8.92 2. Schlein © 7.17 3. Batchelor 7.36 4. Porsing 6.99 5. Wolbert 8.00 6. Rose 6.12 7. Huckenbeck 5.14 TM: Oliver Allen Ave: 49.70
  20. Lyon Steps Down As Manager Steps Up As Main Promoter http://www.kingslynnstars.co/news.php?extend.30340
  21. Under the 2016 regulations he should be on his 2015 PL figure 7.91 rather than his converted 8.97
  22. Poole definitely favourites imo. Solid side throughout. Rye House are strong but when it comes to the crunch mid season who's more likely to make changes to strengthen their title chances.
  23. That's debatable. Kenny rely on his gating and is as good as any at that aspect of his game. Lasse is a racer, loves a wheel to wheel challenge and doesn't often bailout. I'd say overall, Lasse is the better rider just not up to scratch at his gating plus he's still only 23.
  24. Whilst that's true, nobody knows whether the new promotion will start from scratch or take on the existing debt. If the latter then whoever it is is in a precarious position straight from the off
