  1. Are Swindon purposely going against the Matt Ford grain? 12+ heatleader & an "unemployable" Adam Ellis. Personally Swindon are building the right way IMO and I'm chuffed Ellis hasn't been left on the scrap heap as he's a real racer. Has the right manager behind him too to help push on for a GB World Cup spot
  2. Every rider's average is likely to drop but Ellis will easily maintain / improve his 2016 EL average
  3. I agree they're cannon fodder but they'd only need to score 2/3 points each at home to pretty much do their job. Both experienced AFA riders and perform at the top of the team averages in the NL. With the format change 4 of the reserves 8 heats are with the No'3 & No'5 and we know Lambert & Holder are excellent AFA racers, talented team riders, so there's always a chance Greaves & Bailey can pick up 5 points between then a meeting. The value of a strong reserve in this format will be lost with weak heatleaders. It's not at all a likely line-up but proof a quality side can be put together with 12+ average riders.
  4. Just thought I'd put it out there 1. Iversen 12.66 2. Huckenbeck 5.14 3. Lambert 8.92 4. Rose 6.12 5. Holder 12.53 6. Greaves 2.32 7. Bailey 2.05 49.73
  5. Good looking team that but I just can't see Wolves allowing Klindt to go elsewhere on his average
  6. Can't disagree with that, Peterborough Showground for me. Next best track in British Speedway after Belle Vue.
  7. Having the Riders Championship in October is a clue. Plenty of time to move it elsewhere if needed
  8. 1. Jason Doyle 13.41 2. Lewis Kerr 5.98 3. Josh Grajczonek 8.90 4. Stefan Nielsen 5.53 5. Rohan Tungate 9.03 6. Tobias Busch 4.66 7. Nathan Greaves 2.32 49.83
  9. 1. Neils K Iversen 12.66 2. Nikolas Porsing 6.99 3. Troy Batchelor 7.36 4. Lewis Rose 6.12 5. Danny King 9.57 6. Kai Huckenbeck 5.14 7. Josh Bailey 2.05 49.88
  10. Swindon Speedway ‏@SwindonSpeedway BREAKING | After recent speculation we can confirm @Jasondoyle43 WILL be leading us into the 2017 season on a 13.41 average. It's great to see Swindon sticking by their man
  11. Yep, of course. It's Buster's and rest of the BSPA's fault Belle Vue went up the s#!+€r.
  12. Milik knocks back the Pirates http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/14878977.Speedway__Milik_off_the_table_for_Pirates/?ref=twtrec
  13. I just don't get why people are saying Poole should sign Ellis? I Ford doesn't think he fits the direction he wants to take the team so be it, that's Speedway I'd have Ellis at King's Lynn though as I think he'll still improve on his actual 2016 EL average
  14. No it hasn't, SGB Premiership Twitter account is an "Unofficial Fan Page" so certainly not officially confirmed at all
  15. 1. Kim Nilsson 9.63 2. Anders Thomsen 8.29 3. Robert Lambert 8.76 4. Tobiasz Musielak 6.34 5. Danny King 9.57 6. Kai Huckenbeck 5.14 7. Josh Bailey 2.27 50.00
  16. We've supposedly bought King as an asset. If he's signed and we remain a Thursday track it's Ipswich that miss out, not us I'm struggling to put a side together if only 2 double up riders are allowed
  17. A multi million pound facility being open for only 6 months and already gone bust is not a "magnificent achievement". It's absolute failure, nothing else. Your support is as delusional as the outgoing owners.
  18. Some reports are suggesting only 2 double - uppers per team. Could be a bit of a problem for us if true King Lambert Rose Kerr Bailey That's 5 I'm sure will want to be in both leagues
  19. Kai Huckenbeck is the best value rider out of everyone on a 5.14
  20. Bailey would start as a 3.00 Rider's averages can only go down to 2.00 after the first set of greensheets
  21. 1. Iversen 12.66 2. Huckenbeck 5.14 3. Lambert 8.76 4. Porsing 6.97 5. King 9.57 6. Sissis 3.79 7. Perks 3.00 Ave 49.89
  22. All self employed can be restricted by contract. The company my old man works for has self employed plumbers and electricians signed up so they can't do work elsewhere between 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday.
