Jonathan Chapman as King's Lynn promoter use to post regularly. Problem with some posters is they have no debating skills and go on the attack over nothingness. They could say the truth, the whole truth & nothing but the truth and be shot down in an instant. It is a shame though that they don't post, would love to hear their opinion on some of the subjects

There's no doubt about it, releasing Mads for Rory was a massive error of judgement from everybody. Rory's mental strength to get back on the bike is extreme but he has lost that strength to compete. His gating last night was as good as any over the first 20-30 meters but going into the first turn the throttle is knocked off. Heat 6 or 8 last night in 2nd position riders were getting a bit close for his liking and he just moved out the way on turns 3-4. We were all proud to have him back & wanted him back, but now feel he's being selfish to the detriment of the team as captain. If his 3-5 points every week are accepted then there's not wonder the likes of Huckenbeck & Batchelor are just rolling around like they're on a Sunday ride to the beach. There was a lot of groans last night & believe v Lakeside next week the place is going to look pretty empty Everyone respects him for coming back but this is a sport first & foremost. The past is the past & shouldn't warrant justification for continued poor performances.

Iversen has been sloppy of late & that hasn't just been for the Stars & he's well aware of that himself but no rider is unbeatable round their home track, even in top form. There was no real improved form from the team at Belle Vue either, Belle Vue were just bad. Schlein & Batchelor scored 8 between them, the reserves the same. Only Huckenbeck's 8 was very unexpected. Fortunately we had a top guest in Lindgren and an on song Lambert scoring 25 Over the season our main scoring power at home has been from 4 riders, Iversen, R.Lambert, Rose & the now injured S.Lambert. The rest, very very disappointing

Ok, I'll rephrase. A little knock has given him an excuse to not race at King's Lynn. Like you say, he's 46. Why should he put himself in danger at a track he knows is a problem to him. Not criticising, I don't blame him for swerving his jinx track

Not sure Karlsson being missing is down to injury More likely he doesn't want to get injured, our track is a bit of a jinx on the lad. 2001 (I think) smashed his legs up by going through the fence while racing for the Stars 2013 Fractured vertebra racing for Lakeside His scores more often than not have been pretty poor so wouldn't surprise me if he gets a bit of the jitters when mentioning King's Lynn

What you're really saying is that there must have been about 200 in the main stand because from the heat 15 Periscope you can't take a judgement on how many where in the backstraight stand. Quite possibly the luxury of the more expensive seats has worn thin and people are opting for the cheaper standing areas?

Given that Charlie isn't likely to watch the Speedway, Pearson, Tatum (I think?) and Louis sent get well messages on Twitter, If people ain't on Twitter and it's announced on Sky what does that achieve? The majority of people already are aware of Charlie's situation as it's been on almost all news programmes, national papers etc. It would have been a nice touch to do on Sky but it wasn't a necessity, that's it, no biggie
