  1. Absolutely but if we end up without NKI and Holder what will we have? It'll be pretty s#!+ regardless
  2. 1. Tungate 9.02 2. Porsing 6.99 3. Lambert 8.92 4. Batchelor 7.36 5. Masters 8.97 6. Rose 6.12 7. Bailey 2.05 49.43
  3. James Shanes then. Interesting signing and could it possibly mean that Chris Holder could be back in the fold? Also interestingly, Shanes is given a 2.00 average and he's never been in the PL. We were all told that 2.00 would be minimum for riders that didn't achieve a 3.00 average in the PL otherwise 3.00 would remain the minimum. Seeing as Ford is the first to announce an unused NL rider not used in the PL Is he already playing the game of loopholes?
  4. Agree but I think it'll be Bjerre's lack of interest in riding for King's Lynn rather than King's Lynn not interested in him. He got a hell of a lot of abuse in his last season with us and he let it be known that it affected him. We'll never see him in Stars colours again I believe.
  5. Top 10 things to do in Poole And a walk on the beach is in there ffs, a buzzing place http://www.pooletourism.com/page/ref:N57DFED49623FC/
  6. I'm with you on that. Any rider with a 2015 PL average should be able to use that average if they didn't compete in the 2016 PL. We have to bare in mind though that the "rule book" is suppose to be shredded and re-written for 2017 so we just don't know what rules are what
  7. King's Lynn have run an NL side since 2009 as the Young Stars. Next season will be their 9th season, so I'd say that's a success without any clever marketing. In fact, the NL stuff is pretty none existent as is the crowds but Buster manages to keep it rolling on.
  8. With Kenneth in the EL, is that a 2 fingers up to the new Polish regulations? Sure he's already got a Swedish & Danish side along with an Ekstraliga side?
  9. Can you imagine the situation that Lambert (Ellis, Bewley etc) goes on to achieve his potential, becomes a club legend but the BSPA bans him because he's in the SGP's? We can't close the door simply because of the SGP's, what we should do is close doors to riders that can't commit to at least 90% of fixtures.
  10. Wrong, at the 3rd decimal place averages are round-down between 0-4 and round-up 5-9. Harris average is 9.21
  11. If we have no Iversen then I have no doubt Holder will be at King's Lynn for 2017
  12. I was of the understanding that: An outgoing promotion has 3 seasons to sell their rider assets if they don't intend to return to the sport. What they're not allowed to do is claim loan fee's, these are set by and paid too the BSPA.
  13. Harris on a technical track week in week out, hmmmmm On paper a good signing but he can't gate for toffee which will be costly round Rye House
  14. If Poole sign Cyfer on a 5 that's very fair, the blokes s#!+€. Worse than Woryna.
  15. It's a pretty big clue seeing that you've started this thread that he'll be involved with Leicester. A statement issued by Poole though states that Rick and Julie want to take a step back from Speedway.
  16. Think you've nailed it with that Not only is it less heats, the gap between them is bigger so from the outside it looks the same as it's always been.
  17. Don't agree, if he wasn't offered a spot from Liga 1 or Ekstraliga he may aswell of stayed in both UK leagues as far more challenging. Pretty sure he'll be in an Elitserien side somewhere so not sure of the Polish 3rd tier contract
  18. Whilst you all may end up correct regarding Lambert I still feel it's a backwards step to take. It's all well and good getting big Polish track time but he's not really challenging himself, it just looks like the easy root has been taken. The track size I'm not sure is what he needs, more competitive rider's and the ability to gate should be his target. We all know already he's fast enough. After all the natural ability and potential he'd shown I just feel he's now stuttering Even Ellis now has taken a chance in a 2 tier Polish team, showing a bit more ambition.
  19. They did tweet a few days back that they're looking at running a supporters meeting again Also, Robert Lambert signs for 3rd tier Polish club Lublin Have to say, I don't get it at all. Polish 3rd tier is a worse standard than the new British Championship league
  20. Most likely line-up 1. Danny King 9.57 2. Lewis Rose 6.12 3. Nikolas Porsing 6.99 4. Michael Palm Toft 6.98 5. Robert Lambert 8.92 6. Lewis Kerr 5.98 7. Kai Huckenbeck 5.14 49.69 0.31
  21. No, only gets that for the 1st 3 years riding outside the NL
  22. Are Swindon purposely going against the Matt Ford grain? 12+ heatleader & an "unemployable" Adam Ellis. Personally Swindon are building the right way IMO and I'm chuffed Ellis hasn't been left on the scrap heap as he's a real racer. Has the right manager behind him too to help push on for a GB World Cup spot
  23. Every rider's average is likely to drop but Ellis will easily maintain / improve his 2016 EL average
  24. I agree they're cannon fodder but they'd only need to score 2/3 points each at home to pretty much do their job. Both experienced AFA riders and perform at the top of the team averages in the NL. With the format change 4 of the reserves 8 heats are with the No'3 & No'5 and we know Lambert & Holder are excellent AFA racers, talented team riders, so there's always a chance Greaves & Bailey can pick up 5 points between then a meeting. The value of a strong reserve in this format will be lost with weak heatleaders. It's not at all a likely line-up but proof a quality side can be put together with 12+ average riders.
