  1. Didn't see 1 Gerhard at the Simon Lambert testimonial yesterday. As I said before though, most of these engines won't be purchased until riders start blowing up their Jawa / GM's anyway. 2018 and beyond is where we may start to see a transition
  2. All the same, the running of the meeting had nothing to do with King's Lynn
  3. The running of that meeting had nothing to do with King's Lynn except it was run at the stadium. Onesport had total control of proceedings, Buster just graded the track when required.
  4. Any fears regarding Doyle's fitness and mentality have been put to bed already. Swindon were right to keep him.
  5. Wouldn't count on King being available for 6th May. Leicester have this date reserved in their fixture list
  6. Lyon has promised they won't be slow to react to poor performers again. I guess time will tell.
  7. Don't think we need to worry to much. I don't believe the promotion will take fools next season. Under achievers will be binned off and if to many meetings are missed they'll get replaced too. Think it's a wait and see as to how many rearranged fixtures happen in Poland
  8. Can't imagine that would be Ford's thought process otherwise he would never have employed Kasprzak, who is well known for giving up if he's not winning races.
  9. Which would destroy a young riders confidence more 1,0,0,0 or 1,0,0 I'd say the former. These guys being around the pits with the more experienced riders is where they'll learn the most. The number of rides between 3 or 4 isn't going to affect confidence much to the No7s unless they're a bit big head.
  10. Any track under 320m is small imo and Birmingham is 294m
  11. I'd have Jack Parkinson-Blackburn in a heartbeat This kid looks a talent and being at a big track already with Sheffield and small track Birmingham places him as a very attractive choice imo
  12. I've always thought that it's a bit of a p!55 take that King's Lynn charge a £1 to sit in a seat. Much less offended to pay for parking a car as that seems to be the norm for almost any arena
  13. Why's it defeatist. It's just power going in a cycle. Maybe in another decade Poland will go bust and riders will come back. Just let Poland do what they're doing. We can work on progressing on our own and start to stock pile British riders which will then in turn reverse the dominance. Then when Poland want our boys the BSPA can dictate to them again.
  14. I really don't get why people are getting their knickers in a twist over what Poland are doing. It's nothing new. BSPA had similar policies not all that long ago that all riders had to prioritise British Speedway over other leagues. Including foreign riders own leagues. British Speedway is no longer in a position to make those demands on top riders but Poland is. It is what it is.
  15. Jack Holder gave the thumbs down on Twitter so he's not best pleased
  16. While what Matt says is what everyone is thinking, I do wonder if this is another stab at the Holder name as Chris made it quite clear there were issues behind the scenes last season.
  17. Exactly, Holder missing Somerset because of GP's is the least of our worries.
  18. Do I My opinion is it doesn't matter. Nothing to do with who says it does matter. All that matters for me is Holder should be available for all home fixtures. Guests are part of Speedway, we should be used to it by now as it's always been that way. The only way to fix the issue is to go to fixed race nights
  19. So, why will the equivalent to Holder be missing too? Only Lindgren is in the SGP that could come in as Doyle's average is to high. Somerset V King's Lynn is the only Premiership fixture on that night. I don't see a problem with the fixture arrangement at all.
  20. Agree, there's enough in that top 5 in the current format to cover poor scores from reserve. As the season goes on both Bewley and Smith will get better, especially with the brilliant home track they have. Belle Vue will go unbeaten at home if they keep the same 7 all year
  21. Yep, Belle Vue the team to beat. Great looking side
  22. Belle Vue & Somerset are the best 2 tracks in the Premiership. Leicester has had reshape so we'll see how that performs but the new shape looks good. Saddlebow race circuit has slipped big time over the last few years and become more gate and go
