  1. At least us King's Lynn fans can get the party poppers out already for finishing 6th.
  2. The only way to be better is Zmarzlik & Lindgren
  3. Early start to the New Years Celebrations is it? Jeez, that'll be some take if sober
  4. We used to get chat like this with Sandu, Ford, Rathbone etc. Seen all this before. Guess what happens next?? That's right, they're booted out by stadium owners or the establishment eventually. If you want to chat big about your finances, build a safe & secure track for the clubs future first & foremost rather ego boosting waste on GP rider's. It's absolutely horrific this stuff gets dished out, building up the fans only then to see their clubs gone within 5yrs of this such nonsense
  5. Pole's in Poland = full throttle Brum = Slow motion racing A winning home team is a must but at the same time, in general, it's never the case for the bottom 2 teams. If the Pole's get to grips with Brum I don't think they're a bottom 2 club. Oxford look horrific to me & King's Lynn risking injured & injury prone rider's could bite them hard yet again.
  6. If Brum get both Pawlicki's, I don't think it's a bad side in general. The interesting part will be whether these Pole's will be happy & comfortable trundling around at half speed
  7. That's absolutely it. Why would you hand over ownership of something of no value to which you've spent 10s of £1000s on, only for the new owner to potentially build (exaggeration I know) a 10,000 seater stadium & have a sell-on value of £ms?? If the new consortium find acres of land & get building regulations approved, Peterborough Speedway's licence would then have market value & a rightful return for Chapman.
  8. I've added Lampart as a 7.00. It has to be with the points left, leaving room for 8.00ish & 7.50ish rider's.
  9. How would many line the team up?? Getting the team in the right order as we have rider's coming back from big bangs last season. 1. Tobiasz Musielak 8.69 2. Michael Palm Toft 5.13 3. Vadim Tarasenko 6.94 4. Benjamin Basso 6.25 5. Niels Kristian Iversen 6.64 6. Patryk Wojdylo 5.00 7. Anders Rowe R/S For me the engine room of No3 & No4 is so important so I'd make sure it's an injury free pairing home & away. Iversen's experience as a heatleader (although injured) should be able to hold his own in his first 3 rides at No5. Musielak should offer a bit of protection to Palm-Toft at No2 until (if) he can get back to full fitness.
  10. Obviously it's personal opinion & never fact, but for me it can only be Tony Rickardsson as the greatest of all time.
  11. Will be interesting to see how Masters, Becker & Douglas get on this season without the safety of a trick track.
  12. Under the current team average, I'd argue there's only 1 heatleader & 4 2nd strings. Only the top averaged rider has a fixed position in the team. It's only OUR historic habits & Team Managers that 2nd in averages goes at No5 & 3rd goes at No3. Those days have long gone, the top 3 can ride at No1, No2, No4 if seen fit by the TM. Some teams are build with no heatleaders at all. We should change are view that someone placed at No2 & No4 are of lesser ability of a No3 & No5.
  13. Rather swift with the edit there pal. Feel a little embarrassed??
  14. Bewley for me is the only challenger to Zmarzlik based on his pure speed, as other have said, he needs to put himself in difficult positions to progress as speed alone won't get you there.
  15. The OAP's are the diehards. I'd be popping £30 admission for them
  16. Think it's 24yo &/or their average is 4.00+, whichever comes first
  17. Why, I fully expect out No6 to be on a 6+ average. Providing all are fully fit I don't think that's unreasonable to expect.
  18. Surely King's Lynn have set up the stronger reserve with it switching between Wojdylo, Palm-Toft & Iversen?? Kerr isn't anywhere near their level.
  19. Missing the point again. He may or may not have taken 2 shillings for closing down the club. Everyone else is running around trying to save it, if they do he can get 2 shillings more. All of this for no work at all Great bit of business
  20. I'm amazed nobody has figured it out yet with regards to the current owner. Chapman is behaving as a shrewd business owner in my opinion. He will not hand over ownership until after planning has been approved/unapproved. Fans are saying that the club has no value, well it clearly does. If the stadium gets a protection order from the council it again becomes a going concern, Chapman can increase it's selling value & he's had to do no work for it either. Great bit of business if you ask me
  21. MPT is absolutely one of the rider's I wouldn't have picked, 100%. He's not one I'm expecting to add to his average. Tarasenko, Wojdylo & Iversen I'm expecting to add 1 point each. They have to deliver or this side fails. The impact of having Rowe at No7 could be the difference.
  22. You're falling in to the 'bad management' trap. Lawson & Harris are decent but on their current averages what do they add?? They have little to no improvement on their averages which will = losing meetings. I'm sticking my neck out & saying King's Lynn will make top 4 with this septet. If not, 100% the fans will be entertained with Musielak, Tarasenko, Basso & Wojdylo. Having Rowe at No7 will be huge.
  23. I've said every year "why do clubs always try to hit the team building limit?" I think King's Lynn might just have it bob-on this year (even though I wouldn't have signed 3 of them ). Genuinely solid throughout & every single rider except Musielak should improve their starting average. That's what team building should be, who improves, not who fit in to 40 points. If rider's don't improve it gives the club a large scope to play with. King's Lynn Speedway, for the first time in a decade from me, WELL DONE
