  1. I'm totally ashamed of my (not so much of a) team tonight. How you perform away from home is totally irrelevant when things like tonight happen. It's a real embarrassment on the club, the sport and the man at the helm of British Speedway.
  2. How beautiful is it to see the Pirates scratching around to find scraps
  3. Fancy the 3 Poles to take the medals this year 1. Drabik 2. Smektała 3. Woryna
  4. I think it's a great shame that people are advocating that a rider's opinion of a manager should dictate. There's a professional maturity that should be held between rider and manager, if one or the other can't get on then it has to be the rider that goes. Once you go down the road of rider's dictating it's asking for trouble.
  5. You can't never compare a meeting on a 1v1 basis as there's 4 rider's in a race 1. KK-JH v TB-TJ (5-1) 2. PS-JS v LR-DA (4-2) 3. NK-RW v KH-RL (2-4) 4. HA-JS v CH-DA (4-2) 5. NK-RW v TB-TJ (2-4) 6. KK-JH v CH-LR (4-2) 7. HA-PS v KH-RL (4-2) 8. JH-JS v TJ-DA (5-1) 9. NK-RW v CH-LR (2-7) 10. KK-JH v KH-RL (5-1) 11. HA-PS v TB-TJ (4-2) 12. NK-JS(PS) v KH-LR (1-5) 13. KK-HA v TB-CH (3-3) 14. RW-PS v RL-DA(LR) (4-2) 15. KK-JH v CH-RL (5-1) 54-39
  6. Well, on Saturday at King's Lynn before the SWC meeting a GB rider was in the local McDonald's smashing a burger and chips
  7. It ain't lying though is it just the drive to Poole might be a bit far for those that attended
  8. Part of Woffinden's plan was to buy the rights to the international team, probably with a similar way of working to the USA. The BSPA refused to sell
  9. That's a swift turnaround as Simon's return was meant to be for Peterborough this week only. Maybe Ayres performance last night rattled the management a little. Is he at Poole tomorrow too then?
  10. Yes he is but if last night is anything to go by
  11. Lambert is now at an age where he can be influenced easily one way or another. It's not a case of not supporting him or wanting him to be average. Seeing the massive potential he had at 15-16 to now he hasn't moved on enough, I'd say he's stagnated and the potential he'd once shown is now just looking like any other rider. He no longer stands out from the rest.
  12. I don't think any real Speedway fan would pick Poole's track over Wolverhampton's.
  13. Yep, nothing wrong with the track. Shovlar should get a job on Comedy Central, he's so funny
  14. You mean worse than that, it's Richie
  15. Ok signing for Poole but a bad one for Richie as it rules him out of a Premiership team to the end of the season
  16. But Gaming International have already purchased the £20k worth of cut and shut portacabins. So Swindon has to be going ahead, oh, hang on............ A few grand losses against a few £100k housing profits, hmmmm
  17. Correct we were in with a chance of bronze, so a braver team manager would have gambled. Nobody had Steve Worrall outscoring Cook and Lambert combined. Is Steve Worrall better than Cook? Of course not but it's about taking chances and opportunities and Ellis was our chance and opportunity against 2 riders with 1 point from 6 rides
  18. Hang on, it's not about who's better. It's about Cook and Lambert only scored 1 point from 6 rides between them. It wouldn't of hurt for Ellis to of taken both their rides in the nominated heats as he couldn't of done worse than 0.
  19. Maybe Klindt is doing himself a favour and can see what Poole are using him for so another 3 ride 000 to benefit his average for 2018.
  20. There's a massive difference, everybody knows the GM has to go to an over priced special tuner to be the same as Doyle. Everyone is told all GTR's are the same, including Lindgren's so the expectations are set way higher.
  21. Of course not but we're told the engines are the same so what will happen is if an NL rider can't thrash another NL rider they'll assume the engines a bag of nails when in fact it's just them that is not so good. This will be the same as you move up the leagues. Marcel Gerhard, Suter Racing and Freddie Lindgren have raised the bar of the GTR brand so riders from any level will be expected the highest standards. Reliability is no longer the only expectation.
  22. It is true but Gerhard have made a rod for their own back a little bit. Rider's purchasing these engines ain't just looking for reliability, they're now expecting Freddie Lindgren speed with that reliability.
  23. Is it?!? Garrity gets dropped for an out of form Pole who's only there for training purposes. Not sure that's what the British league needs at all
