  1. King's Lynn Team: 1. Troy Batchelor 2. Thomas Jorgensen 3. Michael Palm Toft 4. Kai Huckenbeck 5. Robert Lambert R/R 6. Tero Aarnio 7. Simon Lambert
  2. In place of Rose - A good signing In place of Jorgensen - A terrible decision (but most likely as Jorgensen was only a 28 day injury replacement) In place of Holder - A good signing Porsing's form wasn't great prior to his injury but what can't be argued is his commitment to the Stars and that's all us fans want to see.
  3. and funnily enough pretty heavy track conditions with Batchelor withdrawing after 1 ride. I just have a bad feeling if tonight is on, that laughing stock tag is just gonna get bigger
  4. Thing is, the track wasn't that bad just a little extra grippy and the less established riders coped with it well. The question has to be would he of stood in the pits and refused to ride in Poland & Sweden?!?
  5. People are laughing at Matt Ford and Poole but I can see some method to this madness. Yes, Kennett for KK looks hilarious but you should really only look at the numbers. Kurtz is returning so clearly will come back for Worrall, no brainer. EK's & KK's away averages are similar but EK will now get easier rides as a 2nd string so will improve that. At home EK has only got to be a 6+ man and he's better than KK. Poole are doing ok away from home, at home they've struggled and that's where EK does add some strength in depth over a failing KK.
  6. You'll know the answer to this better than anyone, Is Keith (and yourself for that matter) capable of putting differences aside for the gain of the "business"? There's definitely an element of you both being "like 2 peas in a pod" and sometimes it's impossible to work together
  7. First time back after a 3 year rest = I fokin loved it 2 newbies with me too who really enjoyed it
  8. Whilst I agree to a point you obviously didn't watch today's meeting. Suffered a very big off
  9. No different to any rider, always ride through the pain barrier in the World's but pull out of league meetings. Nothing new
  10. We might as well turn up with just 4 rider's, we're a bit of a comedy club anyway so won't make much difference
  11. This was first used in the Poole meeting, an excellent addition
  12. Us fans can move on without sweeping it under the carpet. The biggest thing to help the club move on is make sure the clubs know JC is ready to help. It's the only way this club can move forward
  13. Right now, the whole feeling around the place stinks and getting the fans and riders back to race for the cause may be tough work. Obviously the riders will want to do the best for themselves in term of earning money but it's getting that little bit extra out of them.
  14. What the fookin hell are the BSPA doing Effective as of the 24th July Krzysztof Kasprzak has been given an 11.08 average He's been absolutely s#!+e and getting this kind of made up average only benefits Poole in replacing him. Surely his assessed average should be along the lines of his current form
  15. You will not be signing Chris Holder as you cannot sign a suspended rider. This to would have to be approved by the BSPA and I'm very sure measures are in place to not allow this to happen. If Matt Ford & Chris Holder are switched on, as King's Lynn are now not likely to make the Play-Off's Holder would be best to try make amends with the King's Lynn promotion. That way KK can be fired and Holder can guest at No1 for the Pirates
  16. Wolves the next home fixture, that's really gonna help with the mood round our place next week
  17. What's that that we wish for? It certainly not for the club to close but for it to gets it's house in order. If it was to close that'll be a few £100's saved a year
  18. Depends if he'd earn more from points & sponsorship in Denmark, Sweden & UK rather than just Poland & Denmark
  19. Think picking rider's from years gone by you could say they were all men. I think from the modern era (2010+) it's not very easy to pick a rider who would happily put themselves on the line regardless of conditions... These guys are still nutters but compared with yesteryear these modern day riders are wee boys
  20. Was it Jorgensen by any chance. For me, he was the home sides Man of the Meeting. He WAS a joy to watch last week
