  1. The reason he's getting knocked is because to many people bigged him up to be the next British superstar. They're all extremely disappointed that this season he really hasn't stepped it up to expectations. My expectations I believe are far more realistic and I just don't see him becoming any better than he is already. He's quite frankly has been less than average against top riders, to the point of being completely uncompetitive against them. The World Cup 2 years running really should have opened pwoples eyes but they're still so blinded with pipe dreams.
  2. It not a coincidence that since the signing of Chris Holder quite a number of riders have had their heads turned. It's also the reason why I don't think Lambert or Rose will be in the Stars team for 2018.
  3. Adding a heavier minimum weight limit won't change anything with the engines. Rider's will still use the highly tuned motors, they'll just add the weight to the fames, forks & wheels. Speedway for me is in a position where the GP's should be the pinnacle, the only place for the 'special parts' bikes League speedway globally the machines should be supplied by the clubs. 14 off the shelf bikes sitting in the pits ready for when the riders turn up. Riders literally paid per point & that points money exactly the same for every 1-7 in the league.
  4. I agree with all of that apart from Robert Lambert. I believe he has to move on, even for a year or 2 to benefit his career. It will also benefit King's Lynn as he'd return better and in the prime of his career.
  5. Out of interest, what was the crowd like on Wednesday night.
  6. Good to have Jorgensen signed up already. Auty and Toft deserve a run from the start of the season too as they've both been good signings. Out has to be Huckenbeck, Porsing, S.Lambert, T.H.J. R.Lambert I believe should have a season or 2 away from the Stars. 1. Iversen 2. Jorgensen 3. King 4. Kerr 5. ????? 6. Toft 7. Auty
  7. A new promoter with the same mentality as those of the Isle of Wight & Glasgow would be a solid injection into the club.
  8. I'm one who didn't, no regrets at all. There was & is graduates at my workplace of similar age & older earning less than me. There's such a high turnover of graduates every year the percentage ending up unemployed & taking low paid jobs will increase.
  9. Chapman Looking To Repay Loyal Supporters http://www.kingslynnstars.co/news.php?extend.30543 I still will not be there, good luck to those that do attend
  10. It makes me laugh when I read that people will walk away if Lambert goes. Utter nonsense, the reason people walk away is because the owner is failing the fans. The BSPA as a whole is failing British Speedway. Rider's come and go, Lambert isn't the be all and end all for King's Lynn.
  11. For Robert's future he needs to get away from King's Lynn Speedway regardless imo
  12. You mean the season ticket I put in the bin after the Wolves double header
  13. 2018: Palm Toft & Jorgensen signed & full assets. R.Lambert to go out on loan. Iversen to return. Huckenbeck & Porsing to be released. J.Chapman returns part time to do some actual promoting. 1. Iversen 9.04 2. Toft 6.33 3. Jorgensen 5.86 4. Kerr 5.17 5. King 6.59 6. Auty 4.90 7. ??? 4.11
  14. I'll wait to see the statement in the press. £17 to just hear a statement about 2018 is bullox
  15. Everything's rosy in Trees garden still, Stars Pride ffs has been totally sucked out from the club
  16. It's all well and good asking Buster to step down as chairman but the truth is, not 1 clubs promoter is good enough to save the sport. The only way this sport can survive is with an independent board of control, problem being is that this would also cost money the sport in this country doesn't have.
  17. Buster had probably the best person to help him out in his own son and they've fallen out. Rob & Dale were suppose to be running the Speedway but Buster was the one to sack Holder & Batchelor. Rob has said he'd left due to other commitments but I'm not sure that's the real reason, it was convenient after that horror evening. Buster cannot and will not work with someone that tells him how to run a business, that is as clear as anything. King's Lynn's Speedway future currently looks very very bleak
  18. I've nothing against the team at all. I like the team and enjoyed watching them. The stance Buster took with Batchelor and Holder I agree with. As a season ticket holder though I've been mugged and the contempt that Buster has for loyal supporters is unbelievable. By the sounds of it many fans feel the same and didn't attend against Poole on Thursday too. No doubt there'll be even less for the Rye House meeting. I take it you're very happy with how things are then?
  19. If there is a relegation match I'll be cheering the opposition but via live updates. I can't bear ever entering the gates of the AFA again while in the Premiership. Go back to the league where we belong and rider show they care a bit more
  20. I've missed you Shadders, that comment reminds me of the PL days
  21. What credit is that? Lambert is nowhere near the best we have now. Stevie Worrall has shot past him, Cookie is a million miles ahead. He's still behind Harris, King and Nicholls when it comes to racing against the stronger riders. Against the stronger riders I'd put Ellis ahead of Lambert. Woffinden is way ahead of everyone. In 2018 Lambert wouldn't even get a World Cup place if I was manager. As for our riders not having the equipment to compete, I think that's nonsense personally. We shouldn't be 25 points behind the Aussies, they seem to do alright with their equipment. Josh Pickering even managed 6 points ffs, he even got a race win. Something not 1 of our lads managed. I'd question our youngsters mentality over anything else first.
  22. I've a season ticket and been well and truly ripped off. 2017 season for me was over at the Wolves double header. Walked out after heat 15 of the 1st match and won't be back again. As far as I'm concerned, Rye House should be awarded the 4 points
  23. GB's future isn't in the hands of Robert Lambert. He's average and will never be better than that
  24. Seen plenty mention that the 2017 season is one to forget. For me, it's one that should be very much remembered by fans and management if as a club we move forward.
