Leicester Lions 2018
Daniel Smith replied to The Observer's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
See all these big names banded about as replacement for Vaculik but it won't happen. They're not interested and won't risk their pay cheque from Poland. Vaculik is certain not to return so it really will be another long season of going through the motions for Leicester. -
King's Lynn v Belle Vue 18/04/18

Thanks for clearing that up. For me the trust in the promotion is very fragile. Hope this meeting is enjoyable for everyone who attends, weather is set to be perfect so no excuses. -

So, while I've been being positive and praising the promotion about listening to the fans, is what you're saying above the real reason for the postponements? As proven in Poole's case with Holder a temporary replacement would have been required as no facilities would be granted. But at no point has Proctor's visa been mentioned before. Has the recent weather given the promotion a smoke screen and in fact meetings would have been postponed in sun drenched climates? -

The track "looked good" last night at Swindon too, look what happened. Buster will be in his ivory tower with a bit of smugness on his face. I personally hope that this way of thinking continues, a bit of trust is being regained just by correctly calling these meetings off. Everybody is fed up with the "track conditions are perfect, look forward to a great night of Speedway" only to watch Buster blading the track for a couple of hours. -
I understand that it may seen a good idea to replace Worrall but in the long term that could be a big mistake. A 28 day replacement is pointless as he's going to be out longer than that. Bring in a full time replacement would make it almost impossible to bring him back in to the team later on with his reasonably high average. Right now, Belle Vue will be fine winning just home meetings with R/R or guests and picking up the odd point away.

A poor meeting and rubbish track at Poole and Rye meeting abandoned half way through. Justice served and great call Buster Chapman, not to mug of ya punters -

I think the club are just trying to maximise is revenue and making sure conditions to run meetings are near on perfect. After last season it's absolutely the right thing to do. The problem is, 2 or 3 more weeks of this weather we'll be heading towards 2 home meetings in a week or double headers again where money will be lost regardless. -
Belle Vue V Kings Lynn Stars 9th April

Does seem a strange early call off with forecasts for no rain until 9pm on. Oh well, terrific weather in Liverpool anyway. -

On route for tonight via a few hours at Albert Dock in Liverpool, can you pay by debit / credit card on the day? Don't like carrying cash. -
That's my point, those at the stadium know nothing of Doyle's injuries like the rest of us. They have no right like people on social media saying he's only got concussion. The facts at the moment is nobody has a clue. So just wait from an official press release or Doyle himself. Everything else mention IS just speculation.

18 point max for Fast Freddie away from home in Poland. Bollox dropped there from Wolves instead going with a seriously injured wobbler
