  1. See how Cookie goes in the GP's. These bikes are the best he's ever had the pleasure of riding. Worrall would be a massive risk coming back from a nasty injury. I'd say a year to soon to expect him to deliver in a Polish final. There isn't any other choice for me than Woffy, Cook and Lambert.
  2. It's not just restricted to Dane's. Our most outstanding rider and local Robert Lambert is also caught up in this. If Denmark pick him he has to go. We run the risk of losing 5 rider's on our home fixtures. It absolutely absurd
  3. You're normally on the ball so do you know for certain or just guessing?
  4. As the team selection can't be changed for the final we have to go with; Woffinden Cook Lambert
  5. Anyone know how far in advance teams are announced for the fixtures? And where we can find the line-ups?
  6. Even if Smolinski comes in on 6 it's a risk. He's been poor this year. If Smolinski is genuine I think Poole would be better off picking rider's from the Championship
  7. This series needs knocking on the head, abysmal. When the rider's are asked what they like about the series they're fumbling around trying hard to think of an answer accept for the real reason, it pays well. To be constantly asking that question to the rider's I get the impression they're getting desperate to sell the product to tv companies and the paying public.
  8. The club keeps on giving for people to criticise.
  9. And if you think the club has improved on last year, they only announced on the day that Lambert was in Denmark and Proctor was in the PRC yesterday. The club is being run by a shark.
  10. They did it last year in not telling us riders were missing until we got through the gate. I believe if Lambert & or Iversen is missing due to riding in Denmark it will hit the attendances quite hard.
  11. That's a very naive statement. Things have worked for you and that's pleasing. For me no amount of medication or therapy is working. Had all sorts of counselling and every antidepressants going to no avail, been out of work for 2yrs now through this, all started from a bang to the head. There is no 1 quick fix to everybody's evils, we're all different.
  12. Crowd was clearly very small but no surprise. Was good race, always is when Lambert misses a start. Once he hit the front pretty processional from there.
  13. After learning that Denmark takes priority even with British rider's I have no doubt there will be meetings this season where fan's will turn up not knowing rider's are missing. We're now at the mercy of the Dane's and we could turn up with Iversen, Andersen, Jorgensen, Palm Toft and Lambert missing. The promotion have said they are "working with the DMU" to try and stop it happening every week but the promotion haven't said it won't happen again. The team has had a promising start but with no squad system can be totally destroyed if rider's are called up on Danish league duty.
  14. I disagree, I believe Lambert was our only rider with a realistic chance of winning this or at least making the podium. Iversen's form is very ropey, Proctor has been good but making the top 3 tonight isn't realistic
  15. He rides for King's Lynn, our home meetings are Wednesday. Denmark should not be priority over a British fixture for a British rider.
  16. Absolutely nonsense. If tonight was a GP, GP qualifier (practice) etc I'd understand him being missing, or if it was Iversen it's understandable. No way should a British rider's priority be a Danish league fixture over a British Individual "official" fixture. 2 meetings running Robert Lambert as let the King's Lynn Stars down.
  17. I'm not sure Sheffield will receive anything from the meeting?!?. I'm sure the BSPA pay for the hire of the stadiums and all the admissions go straight to them.
  18. We've had discussions about Robert Lambert and last minute flights for them to only get cancelled and miss the Leicester meeting. People are now encouraging Cook to make the same mistake it's absurd. Yes, people have done it in the past bit they were seasoned GP rider's. This is the first GP of the series and Craig's first (and probably only) time at being a GP rider. Being the first meeting Craig will need the extra time (as all the GP guys will) to make sure all their ducks are in a row. It's irrelevant that last minute flights are available, or my mates got a helicopter, or my dad's got the fastest taxi in the world argument. The point is this is probably Craig's only crack at the GP's, if you can't see the fault of the SCB/BSPA in seeding him into British Semi on the Thursday then you're clearly as stupid as the SCB/BSPA
  19. Just don't react, we don't always agree but it's always been pretty civilised, all because we're fans and want the all round experience better for everyone. Like Trees, DizzyBlondeStar is also an insider. You and I both know that if they were to be found agreeing with any negative vibes Buster wouldn't allow them through the gates. Never get into a conversation with an insider.
  20. Absolute nonsense. The reason for smaller crowds in football today is pure and simply down to health and safety. The requirement is to have all seater stadiums. That's the reason, nothing else.
  21. I think Lambert is the only one to blame. Flight delays ain't uncommon. Having a flight for midday of a meeting is cutting it fine. I have no doubt the reason for such a late flight back to the UK was due to extra time with his chick.
  22. With Lambert missing it's certain defeat from the jaws of victory for the Stars
  23. That would have been the original landing time under that flight number.
