There cannot be a single stars fans that can defend the club tonight. More fans lost. Buster has lost control of the club -

With the way the management works it could be 7 no score rides for Andersen -
The continuing decline of Speedway
Daniel Smith replied to wealdstone's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
You can't go around blaming freeloaders for the sports decline. You don't like money and that's fine but back then the sport could afford the freeloaders. The issues are the paying customers are disappearing. Surely you ain't putting the sports decline on the fans?? As a man who has and maybe still do, work within a club, what do you generally put the lack of fans down too???? The only answer is poor management from the BSPA. If you believe that not to be the case we wait with open ears. As a recent walk away fan (and I've had some pop's at money too in the past) some of the stuff he posted I can now understand as an outsider. It doesn't and shouldn't stop us from having an opinion as at the end of the day I still love Speedway. All I enjoy now though is the SGP's, World Cups and Ekstraliga. British Speedway just looks amateur, with no value for money for it's supporters. -
It does but that was a generalisation rather than talking about riding for the Stars
-
The Stars press release sounds like Iversen's in but in those comments mentions nothing about his thoughts on Wednesday night. Seeing as the Danish league is priority it would be strange to include Iversen and not use him. Wouldn't be the first time that the Stars management plays the denial card come the morning of a meeting, even though the fans knew in advance.

See, another load of bull $#!+ from the club yet again Palm Toft is indeed missing as he rides for Danish club Hoisted. Also missing is Iversen as he's down to ride for his Danish club Esbjerg against Palm Toft's Hoisted. Anyone still trust what comes out the management's mouths?!? https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2321830881176780&id=113869148639642

Maybe 2 lap match races from the tapes against the day's opposition? Seeing there's no money in it for the rider's they ain't really going to go full tilt at it anyway. It's pointless -

Purpose - to add extra entertainment for the fans Realty - boring as hell -
The majority of the Sky money went into Russell's pocket and put none of it back into the sport. If he had of done, Swindon wouldn't be in the $#!+ they are now, staring down the barrel of a gun.

The 6.5 ave Pole's have Ekstraliga experience, the best league in the World. 4 ave Dane's are likely to of had their own league and probably 2nd tier Sweden only.

That's a novelty thing when teams move up leagues. When you realise the aesthetics haven't changed people disappear again. Same with teams going down. King's Lynn had better crowds than now in the old Premier League. Every fan felt part of the club and included. Soon as the people that included the fans left the club, the place just feels so subdued and people have walked away. Ultimately, value for money is the most important. Some say the change of race night has been Belle Vue's problem. It may well just be the novelty of a shiny new stadium has worn off and people are not seeing any value in the sport.
-
As a walk away fan, who is the team isn't an issue. All standards of Speedway can be brilliant. The issues are the selfishness of promoters, inability to acknowledge and treat the fans correctly and value for money. For new fans, they also couldn't care less about the rider's, what they do care about is value for money to continue to come back. 15 minutes of racing over 2 hours, rubbish music, nonsensical waffle from the centre green and appalling stadium standards is all a massive turn off.

Much of a muchness to be honest. -
Quote the correct person, then things won't be missunderstood Edit: Just seen you recognise the error

Jakobsen looking decent at the moment.

Why is that comment inappropriate??

At least Poole are trying something while King's Lynn continues with a wobbling Dane

One of the implications Rye will suffer from by reverting back to Saturday is they'll be without at least 2 members of their team to Championship clubs. Also, Premiership clubs will vote against as it will give Rye an advantage at home for the race to the Play-Offs and the bumper pay days that come with it. From a fans point of view Rye should be allowed Saturday's, from another teams business point of view you would dig your heels in and say "no chance". It is a rock and a hard place situation

Fixed race nights... early indications!!!
Daniel Smith replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Regardless of opinion, that just isn't possible and against FIM rule. Simple as that. British Speedway cannot force any rider to prioritise. Get called up by Swedish, Danish, Polish leagues on their race day's British clubs have no choice but to release the rider. You can't just make up some nonsensical idea and disregard regulations. All that will happen is rider's will sign British contracts, get race sharp, sign secret contracts abroad and when the seasons kick off abroad in May throw British Speedway into a frenzy.
