  1. That's what drives me bonkers with Lambert. When he burst on to the scene it didn't matter how he gates he'd battle hard. Now, with 'supposed' experience he's become a curb crawler or just follows back wheels. Also now gives up points easily too. It's not him. Just don't know if he's purposely doing it, or he's being advised. Natural racing ability seems to have deserted him, really winds me up. I want 'Ruthless' Lambert back. In fact, back to SGP, I'd love to see some more Nicki Pedersen style rider's back in the series, need livening up massively.
  2. Adam Allott & Woffinden have no fight in them. This time around, we're in trouble. Other countries have got better while we've gone backwards. Poland are strongest.
  3. It was part of the enjoyment of this sport for decades, taking an opponent for a plywood lunch. As long as nobody gets seriously injured it's part of this game, it's racing.
  4. He's not though, had he been in this series alongside Crump, Pedersen, Rickardsson, Gollob etc he'd of eaten plenty of plywood with the way he rides. There's just no strong personalities in this sport now. Nobody ever rides another to the limit. The GP Series is too nice
  5. Is it too early to say Discovery are destroying the GP Series?? Or am I just not enjoying this sport at all anymore. Barely any wheel to wheel racing these days & Zmarzlik keeps getting an easy ride. No competition, he needs putting in the fence a couple of times
  6. No changes planned. Eyes are only on riders that get released from other Premiership clubs. Time is being given to Iversen & Palm-Toft to recover form after previous injuries.
  7. Yep, hopefully nowhere. I'm absolutely s#!tting myself we go for him. Premier League is a different beast & he's absolutely not a good enough for Manchester United manager right now.
  8. The BSPL are a pathetic organisation, as their public statement concerning May 4th 2023 vs Ipswich said, the promotion were totally exonerated of wrong doing in 2023. Then state they'd been punished because of the above. Never believe "public" statements, 100% they received a suspended sentence. What I've also been told is King's Lynn cannot call off meetings without an SCB officials approval for 18 months. So, we'll see how that pans out.
  9. None of that's an issue imo, that's happens with every social media platform. The issue with Facebook Speedway pages are people getting banned because they have a differing opinion to the page owner &/or mods. Many of these pages just end up becoming 'eco chambers'.
  10. So a 5.60 average from a rider away from home, not bad is it. Plus the fact his numbers away isn't the concern, it's his performances at home we need but you carry on
  11. I'd have taken Scott Nicholls over R/R to be fair.
  12. This has been the way at King's Lynn ever since Jonathan Chapman left. There needs to be someone new, with very deep pockets to make King's Lynn a success.
  13. They received a suspended sentence over the 'Pit Gate' incident
  14. 10 years ago I would have agreed but he's been alongside Buster at Peterborough too, he's well aware of how it all works under that ownership so I'm not sure he cares to be honest
  15. That has sealed King's Lynn's fate as fighting for the coveted 'Wooden Spoon' title yet again. Embarrassing club. Apart from the visits of Sheffield & Ipswich (quality of riders) really wouldn't bother turning up. £23 a meeting with nothing to aim for. ______________________________________ Some are worried about Birmingham not seeing the season out, could the same fears be said for the Stars?
  16. Before I thought it was about saving pennies but it can't be. Buster is still paying wages for the away meetings but is getting nothing in from the home meetings. So it's gone the other way & he's clearly got money to burn now All very odd
  17. I've never had a zero to hero rider. Never disliked anyone really, the biggest panto villain vs Kings Lynn was Dave Norris & Ryan Fisher. The latter is the closest to 'Zero to Hero' I can think of when he signed for us. Overall though, I've never considered any rider a "Zero".
  18. Would have Howarth at King's Lynn in a heartbeat to replace Palm-Toft
