Jensen would be the most likely there, I think if it was Nicol I think you'd have seen him around with Hancock over the last few days.
-
He's come across as a poundshop version of Conor McGregor in the last few years. The only time he's shown any aggression on the track since his last WC is when he upended that Polish lad from behind who had got on the track.
-
Might not have been Screeny and my memory isn't great but there's something in my mind about him stealing a bike from someone
-
Didn't he also steal one of Joe Screen's bikes when he was younger?
-
I really don't see it happening, but he would be an unbelievable coup if they did.
-
Was a bit tongue in cheek going off the 'rumours' about Cook but I'm sure I read that up to 4.2 in the PL converted would fit so it could still be Bellego. Didn't he end on a 4?
-
Good spot! Imagine it's wild and Bellego and Riss come in (well aware that Poland is likely to rule it out) but all a bit of fun!
-
Presumably said in jest but I don't see who else they could get in. Can't see Covatti back on a bike before the end of the summer, there were some really bad breaks for him. Not sure if it would be a laugh or cry moment.
-
I didn't say I had one - although for enough money there surely is someone out there for 'just 3 meetings'. But they were already 1.5 under the limit after they'd had increased averages of riders to make them get nearer to the limit. As others have pointed out, the initial poor building of the side makes it stick out more as it's essentially a no1 for a 45 year old on a 5 point average. He will start off well, if he doesn't suffer any ill effects from his recent (I think shoulder) surgery.
-
Starting nearly 4 points under the limit it shocking, even for a Rodger’s built side
-
He was in Denmark last year but had a bad one at Puk’s testimonial I think, haven’t seen anything for this year
-
Manzares posting back on it 2024. Let’s go… Could he be the final rider?
-
There's no doubt its for publicity but the majority of the up and coming Brits would struggle to score points in the field that's been assembled so far. And a good few of those are hitting above a 4 point assessed average in the Championship. Someone's got to come last, if it helps get more exposure, then great!

Swindon Speedway items auction today

Sport Poster Closing Season USSR Motorcycle Racing Speedway. Original vintage Soviet film poster for (easyliveauction.com) That is fantastic -
At this point, he's going to be the cheapest option to bring them to tapes with 7 I'd imagine, even if it's short term until they can arrange for someone better to come in. He has said he's hoping to be back on a bike by the spring, can't see him committing to coming back over here though. Riss would be the other choice but on his average you'd have thought he would have been in the side over Covatti already if he wanted to be back over here again this year.

Looks a horrific smash, Albin picked up coming off bend2 and wiped him out into the back straight fence link won’t share but a_las_chapas_bahia have posted a video on Instagram

I hit send before finishing- that's how they last finished over here. Not sure what they would come in on now. Pawlicki had a 7 point ave in the Polish top league last year, Milik had 6.39 (going from the Ekstraliga app)
-
Pawlicki finished on 7.32 with Wolves in 2014. Milik finished on 5.67 with Kings Lynn in 2015.
-
Piotr Pawlicki and Milik it is then
-
If they can all come good at the same time it isn't a bad side but it will take a few too long to get going. Not sure anything I said isn't true though. Maybe being harsh on Magic and Wright's ability to come back from that crash but more than happy to be proved wrong!
-
Jenkins. Always get them mixed up
-
More than happy too! Sheffield are top heavy with big hitters at home that don’t do enough away. Getting Holder back after the performance in the play off at Ipswich is crazy. Would have kept Tobi personally and built around him. Belle Vue kept a decent core and Bewley needs to get back to his best over here. Mountain leaves them with a poor reserve pairing. Ipswich have strengthened with Ellis for Riss, thomas is a good signing and they could go one better than last year now Rew has had a full season. Kings Lynn will be the dark horses for me. Bags of potential with some experience to boot. leicester are built very much like wolves last year but with a proper no1 in Fricke, will do reasonably well at home but take some hidings away brum…well, we’ll see how they finish Edit-Jenkins at Ipswich, not Thomas!

Personally don't think they'll do well, the type of team that on paper looks great but cracks all over when you look at them individually, Magic, coming off the back of one of his worst season to date...which has been coming for a while. He's a spent force, will do well to get a higher average than C Holder. Harris at 42 can only be going one way as he showed at Peterborough towards the end of last year. Will have the odd great meeting but as always will take 2 months to get the set up right! Klindt, great trapper but coming off a broken neck and notoriously inconsistent before that. Tungate, who knows which one will turn up each week. Wright, horrific crash and injuries last year, will take him too long to get going. Kerr, one of the best reserves in the league with the Poles but will swap with Wright after the first set of averages. Boughen, only his second full season in the sport. Will cause a few upsets along the way but very much a development year for him.

Like clockwork

He just doesn't feel like a Glasgow signing. I hope so, he's a nice guy. But he's only gone one way over the last 4/5 seasons.
