  1. He came third in the Victorian state in December - not sure if state is still the qualifier though
  2. Only a matter of time after the F1 had made similar moves. Does that push Jack Holder and Dan Bewley into the series as 1st and 2nd reserves?
  3. It was but didn’t someone say the last 2 would be above the German in averages? I was going by averages gained and what would fit. Presume he will get reassessed if it is in fact him.
  4. Didn’t he average less than 4 last time for Lynn and only seems to be on the decline? although Milik is in a similar spiral, i would have thought his average would fit closer? Sub 6 last time he was over, also with Lynn?
  5. Very true, and given he's starting his 10th year with Esbjerg it's probably a testimonial announcement!
  6. Iversen posting news coming soon... Iversen and Nicol
  7. Just putting the Berwick connections together and think it would leave just shy of 8 points for their reserves. Would make them pretty strong
  8. Still have a feeling it could be NBJ with Gappmier staying at Berwick. Although there was talk on another thread he may not be over this year
  9. Going by the latest Twitter post next signing will be a Dane! Probably from near Billund given the Lego reference NBJ, Patrick Hansen, Vissing. Or just a Dane in general, Hans or Klindt?
  10. The way the teams are panning out so far, wouldn’t be surprised to see NBJ at Oxford as third heat leader.
  11. If rumours are true and the Eastbourne results are expunged from the averages, surely Newcastle should be after getting Newman back on a 5.03, if he isn’t already Plymouth bound
  12. Not sure about the Swedish crash, he had a bit to do with that! The Woffy one, on a few watches. He was in front so could pick his line, wasn’t the right one though! My point was more about his involvement in so many accidents these days. Perhaps I’m watching him too much but he always seems to be involved in the big ones, he seems too desperate for speed and too close to the edge these days
  13. Interesting how it’s never mentioned how many ‘accidents’ he’s caused over the last few years! He’s worse than Freddie and not far behind Pedersen for me but because he’s a nice guy he gets away with it!
  14. Fantastic attention to detail on the write up from the SGB website Skipper Scott Nicholls and Rising Star youngster Dan Bewley clinched the title with a 4-2 in Heat 14 after the Panthers had briefly been delayed by a stunning ride by Aces No.1 Dan Bewley to come from the back and win Heat 13.
  15. Birmingham Edwards Plumbing Brummies Speedway: BRUMMIES OWNERS TO STAND DOWN (birmingham-speedway.com) Could it be the last meeting for both sides?
  16. Just chatting to a friend who has been a fan for over 2 decades that sticks to GPs these days about Jason Crump now at 5 due to his average reducing. He couldn't understand the whole 5% for guests (I still don't if I'm honest) and then I showed him the table and it blew his mind! If someone who has a knowledge of the sport cannot understand it how on earth are we supposed to attract new fans? Simplest sport on the planet in its purest form made baffling
  17. I find my planner inundated with these, I was under the impression the reason for having the roving reporter at the other tracks was so these programmes could show highlights from the other meetings taking place that day. Haven't seen any evidence of that so far!
  18. Must admit, for my moaning about Lambert being in there I thought he gave a fantastic account of himself. Great win for Ellis, was fantastic on the night! Such. A shame we don’t have the proper world team cup still in place he’d be a shoe in alongside Bewley for the final 2 places. The only downside as always was the coverage, Pearson too busy telling us all that Ellis had rolled and talking about his mates to bother noticing what was happening. Rowe nearly had King 2/3 times in one heat and all that was mentioned was about how king needed points! Yawn.
  19. Still no Brennan, u21 champ and on his home (second home) track but Lambert does get in? Baffling
  20. New points scoring is pathetic, 8 points into 20 with 2 extra rides! And people ask why others aren't interested in the sport
  21. Must admit I hadn’t watched it, was catching up on updates here and there but it didn’t look good. Solid effort from him and Palin though in a decent enough field
  22. Call me cynical but I don’t think you’d have seen a Pole needing 2 points from his last ride to guarantee at least a medal run off, with 2 fellow countrymen in that race come last
  23. And he didn’t even get a ride over there!
