  1. Surely it's basically saying if you're a Russian, Argentine, Brazilian, Chinese or any other non-EU, and you don't fit the criteria for Cat1, then you're not coming here at all as you won't get a permit. However we are making an exception for up to 4 new commonwealth or US riders?
  2. Is she still blaming other people for the crash and refusing to take responsibility for not wearing a seatbelt? Just like Darcy Ward....blame everyone except yourself!
  3. Can you provide a link to the press release you read? All I think you read was someone on here making things up. I think you'll find the comment on page 12 about the track being 4 handlebars wide was sarcasm.
  4. Think you've dreamt that one... Right from the beginning of the project the FIM/BSI have been involved with the intention of allocating the SWC to the new stadium in it's first season of operation. There's been plenty of info in the press releases about how the track has been designed first, with the stadium to fit around it. The track being modelled on the best bits of Hyde Road and the top Polish tracks. How it will incorporate features like a slight kink in the straights (similar to Hyde Road), and the maximum amount of banking allowed under FIM regulations (I believe the regs are 5% on straights and 10% on bends). How you've missed all the press releases and dreamt something different, I have no idea.
  5. There have been many daft comments on this thread...
  6. Lewis Rose MikeS pink Chris Puce-y Dent Olive-r
  7. Hope so. You never know when a visitor might need it for a sudden urge to rehydrate.
  8. Nonsense. Which Poole assets have signed or been waiting to sign for teams (other than Poole) in the last week?....or the last 6 weeks even? None!
  9. Which teams would they be? Aside from Poole, only Leicester haven't named a full team. They're still missing a 6 point rider who I believe is being announced soon, and I don't think that's anything to do with Ward. Many teams were announced before Christmas
  10. Good job they didn't ask him to buy four candles.
  11. Australia aren't part of Europe, they're being admitted as "guest participants"......Which begs the question, Does their permit allow them to guest? Maybe we'll have to let Rolf Harris be their entrant, after all he does have residency....courtesy of Her Majesty
  12. Would have been interesting if this rule had been in place last year when Stefan Nielsen was riding for Coventry in the NL and Belle Vue in EL. Presumably Belle Vue (EL) would have had priority over Coventry (NL) because Nielsen is owned by an EL club - Coventry!
  13. Did that happen to you? Is that why your words come out of there?
  14. He might be a bit more clued up when he's had 26 years and 45 days experience.
  15. Has this reply got any relevance to my point that Eastbourne have acted disgracefully by welching on an agreement with a young British rider who has already got equipment and sponsors ready for the season, and kicked him out in favour of a foreigner? Foreigners shouldn't be racing in the NL.
  16. We can easily get this topic to 500 pages in 45 days.
  17. I don't know the result of the hearing, but apparently there were 3 FIM members on the panel... ...There was an Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman...
  18. She never failed a drugs test, and was banned purely on circumstantial evidence concerning irregularities with her blood cells. The irregularities could have been caused by doping, but were in actual fact the result of a genetic disorder inherited from her father. Not comparable to Darcy who did fail a breath test. Although even if he hadn't, I think he'd have a tough job to prove that he inherited Stella Artois in his blood due to a rare defect passed from his father.
