  1. On Adam Extance's facebook he say's he's been released by Buxton and has been forced to find another club. He's posted a photo of himself in a Cradley race jacket. This poses the questions:- Who have Buxton signed to allow them to kick Extance out? Who are Cradley kicking out if they're going to accommodate him?
  2. The Barrow Happy Face would have to be the first to go. Surely it relates to drug taking?
  3. They may have done in Germany, but here it is not allowed (SR 14.9.2)
  4. I still don't se the point of downloading a program, and then downloading an add-in, just to play you a youtube video, which you could have watched on youtube in a fraction of the time, without any messing about, and clogging your computer with unnecessary software.
  5. So isn't this program just a kind of screenscraper that searches youtube or redhotporntube (or whatever is your video website of choice) and plays the youtube clip? Seems an awful lot of trouble to download a program, then download the add-ins, and have an extra program running in the background just for it to find a youtube video that you could have found for yourself in a tenth of the time. Much easier to type in www.youtube.com and just search yourself. I also wonder if the program is secretly collecting info on your viewing habits? This might not be a problem if you're watching something from youtube, but you might not want anyone to know if you're viewing from other video sites.
  6. Referees can only use video evidence when there's a recognised TV company in attendance who can provide multi-angle replays. They can't view footage from someone videoing it for a DVD etc.
  7. Don't understand your confusion. They laid the track how they thought it should be. They ran a test meeting. Test meeting seemed pretty successful, so they put the track back to how it was yesterday and the GP should be successful. THey might have even learnt some things from riders comments yesterday to make it even better for next week.
  8. Harris is riding. Aaron Summers guesting for Fricke. Aces also missing Cook so will probably go R/R as Zagar can take an extra ride. Should still be a comfortable Bees win.
  9. I'm suggesting limiting them to 4 rides instead of 5, and no use as a joker. I think that would be enough to stop anyone using the best rider at reserve.
  10. You can't allow R/R it would be open to all kinds of abuse. The obvious would be that the weakest rider slides off and withdraws with a bruise or two, and the strong riders take his place. But it would also open up other fiddling opportunities like can R/R take a joker or a T/S? There could be clever ways to work it to get your best rider into the best joker race. The solution is so obvious. Include a reserve. The reserve would be allowed to replace any rider who is injured or out of form at the manager's discretion. he can only take 4 rides maximum, and cannot be used as a joker. That would cover for the problem of losing a rider, but there would be no fiddling options and no advantage in naming a stronger rider at reserve.
  11. They do. They buy them from mugs with spare tickets about about 1/3 of the face value and then sell them on to people like SCB at half the face value.
  12. Think Rose is riding for Swindon, (Richard Hall guesting for him at Sheffield)
  13. Can't imagine the FIM would be bothered wasting the time and energy pursuing it. Probably all the ruling does is allows Leicester to claim back a couple of hundred quid off Ward/Poole for the standard points money they paid out relating to the points scored by Ward which the FIM have cancelled.
  14. You might not think it's fair to exclude his scores from team matches (and probably many would agree with that - even non-Poole fans). However the CDI decided that all his scores should be cancelled and removed with all subsequent consequences. Like it or not, that is their ruling, and your opinion counts for nothing. If I were a Poole fan I would keep quiet and hope that the SCB continue to ignore the ruling.
  15. You're quoting the guidlines, not the decision. The CDI judge obviously decided that fairness didn't require otherwise, and therefore made his decision that ALL points must be deducted from ALL matches. The decision says: "Moreover, the CDI ruled that the results obtained by Mr Ward in all the Competitions in which he participated subsequent to the positive test, from 17 August 2014 until 27 August 2014, are cancelled, with all resulting consequences, including forfeiture of any points and prizes."
  16. Even with Jepsen-Jensen's name spelt incorrectly!
  17. You can read the CDI decision here http://www.fim-live.com/en/article/cdi-decision-on-darcy-ward/ It's pretty clear. "Moreover, the CDI ruled that the results obtained by Mr Ward in all the Competitions in which he participated subsequent to the positive test, from 17 August 2014 until 27 August 2014, are cancelled, with all resulting consequences, including forfeiture of any points and prizes."
  18. Miedzinski is in the declared 1-7 for June, so presumably he's riding. If he doesn't ride it will have to be a PL 6 pointer as he hasn't ridden since the redeclaration, and you can't have a facility for someone who is declared but isn't available to ride.
  19. Keep quite still? Keep quite vigilant? Wonder if Roger Daltrey has had a warning...remember "Who have been warned". I reckon Arson Fire has had a warning too, because it was him who suggested changing the cud of Barrycuda to cudn't. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=79396&p=2624695 Beware of the monkeys Arson! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-H8PuweRVA
  20. just haven't worked out what we're being warned about...apart from quite slow monkeys.
