Correct. Both Stoke & Buxton following the latest trend to call matches off a day or two in advance

Belle Vue -v Wolves 25-03-16 Good Fiday

Wonder if the SCB will launch an urgent investigation into Edinburgh and Wolverhampton over these sorry episodes which are a major embarrassment and a massive setback to the sport in this country? It could have a negative impact on every other club throughout the UK if clubs go announcing that another club's fixtures have been postponed even though they're clearly still shown on the BSPA's own website. -
i'm told that Matt Ford is just waiting for Starman to fall into the Poole hole before they start to fill it in.

Reckon the GP riders who are used to having to ride on one-off tracks will be the best placed to figure out a completely new circuit. Woffy, Nicki, Zagar etc. BUt the way Craig Cook has started the season, I reckon he'll be up for it on his new home track. -

3pm, but might open earlier if allowed. They want to minimise congestion because with it all being new and people not yet having familiarised themselves with the best parking spots it could get very congested -

It's a broken humerus. Nothing humorous about it! Big blow to IOW and a bigger blow to Brendan. He's a good lad and seemed to be really looking forward to the new season -
I think it's quite right that NL teams shouldn't be able to sign assets. NL teams pick up riders from training schools, have the benefit of using them in their teams without paying a signing on fee, then pay them only minimal points money which is designed to just cover expenses. How at the end of that can you justify allowing them to ask a PL or EL team to pay thousands for a rider that they have invested next to nothing in? There used to be (and maybe still is) a kind of "finders fee" paid to NL teams when a rider signs for PL or EL after riding in NL. I think it was a scaled amount depending on the riders NL average. I wouldn't have any objection to that system if it still exists.
-
It's correct that NL teams can't sign assets anymore. Don't know what happens to riders who have apparently signed as assets of NL clubs in the past. Don't know whether NL teams can retain them, or whether they have a set time to set them on, or whether they become free agents again. Would be interesting to know the answer.

It's nowhere near all Poole fans....in fact it's mainly just two. One who is incredibly jealous and one who is incredibly thick.
-
Nonsense. By the time of the 1985 World final Odsal was long since finished. It had already held the Overseas Final and an FIM World Pairs semi-final 3 months earlier!
-
Yup.

How are they going to know you're a speedway supporter? Just park there as if you're going into the dogs, and wander down the road instead.

Imagine the gnashing of teeth from that southern fishing village if Coventry and Swindon get their brand shiny new stadia and the pugrats are still renting their council house
-
Now, now let's not make fun of Shovvy's haemorrhoids. Anyway, they might have a padded seat for Shovvy, but have they got a padded cell for Starman?
-
So unless you know one cheaper, he's right. £17 is the cheapest in the league.

There might even be some peanuts on the bar.

Obviously there will be options for vegetarians, but really we don't want to be encouraging vegetarians to Speedway anyway. They'll be wanting to replace engines with pushbikes and planting trees to hug on the centre green.

It'll be ready for next Sunday for the football match. -
17-year-old Glasgow-based Lewis Millar completes the Stoke team. He had one NL outing for Buxton last year against King's Lynn and failed to score.
