09/07 Dudley - Wolverhampton (any Details?)
berniev123 replied to Vicar's topic in National League Speedway
Look on the official Cradley Heath website: http://www.cradleyspeedway.co.uk/ and find Dudley's results 2013 button, page down to the 9th July. Dudley v Wolves Re-match. OR Same site and use the DUDLEY HEATHENS 54 WOLVES 39 section to get all that you are after. Hope that this helps! -

Try contacting Dudley Heathens Supporters Club (HSSC) on the Dudley Heathens web site, they get their painted ones from Poland, I think. They may be able to put you in contact with their supplier. If not, eBay or buy a painted one, spray it white then repaint it to your colours. -
Not bitter at all. As I said I wish him well in his choice of career but to 'fit in' when he can.......I still say a 'ringer' at 7 for next year for a PL and NL team on an assessed 3, at least do 2 H & 2 A to get a real time average, after all there are a fair few in the NL juggling school, etc. with riding in the NL and MDL this season and in other seasons. keep up the progress, we just might have someone in the UK who is a genuine world beater and will give Woofy a good run for his money sooner rather than later!
-
I have no axe to grind with young master Lambert but......he is way, way too good for the NL and should not be on a 3 point assed average due to what he is doing over the Channel and if KL are only going to use him at the home matches as a ringer at 7 ready for 2014 he is not going to get the short UK track turning hard left learning curve that he needs to master ALL European tracks. Look at Woofy, Ward, Freddie Lindgren, Nicky Pederson & Holder and many others who have mastered the UK shorter tracks then went on to bigger and better things! I wish him well in the future and to those who get to see such a talent at such an early age BUT...........he is not the finished article and many things can happen between 15 & 27 (the age when he should be at his best)!!!!!!

Berwick V Dudley (nl Challenge; Saturday June 15th)
berniev123 replied to Boobs's topic in National League Speedway
I would not bet against more Heathens fans than Bandits fans! There is usually more of us than the home fans in the NL, even at the IoW! -
I know this will not happen after Birmingham, Redcar, Berwick & Sheffield BUT it would be nice to face a team that is built to NL 40 points limit and not 50 to 56 as is happening this year or against a Bulls team of 7 ringers riding way above their NL averages! Any ways, the Dudley/Wolves match is back for the Black Country to rave over. Hope we get a return on a Tuesday night so we can have a proper front cover....the one my avatar picture is taken from and if past history is to be repeated, that all 14 riders will end the night in one piece and not in the local A&E has that is what happened in the past since 1962!

I would have to go with Tai but until it is calculated we will all have different opinions. Down the years it has been said in the Cradley area that a rider does more energetic work on a bike in 4 or 5 races than a professional footballer does in a full game! The exact calories burnt over a night of racing would be large and the rougher the track I would imagine more would be burnt when controlling the bike. I have never ridden but logically what Tai says sounds right as a Biologist and my experience with competition Ice Skating. Pity a top rider who has nutritional advice can't help us out on the question.

Thanks, as I am leaving the Cradley area at about 4:30 to be at the meeting with time to spare. Good luck and a safe night to all Tigers/Heathens involved tonight -

As I sit here in the Black Country with it raining outside a question for all Tigers/Prowlers fans...............What is the weather like up in the Sheffield S6 area? -
I, too, agree. but then we, the loyal fans, are expected to climb into our cars and drive to Redcar & Sheffield in May for the our team's track time. Should our team not be having have track time at Monmore or should, we, the fans fill the pockets of Promoters at away tracks? The NL trophy would have filled our season at Monmore with at least another 5 meetings against the same teams........so why not get Redcar & Sheffield (throw in Scunthorpe, Milton Keynes, Mercia, Leicester & Long Eaton) to Monmore to do battle......more financial sense to me, unless others know better ! Your point re available dates at Monmore in 2013, we were led to believe in 2012 that we could have done a FULL PL Season in 2013 with no problem and now Will is worried about little action the Heathens are getting?????????????????
-
Thanks Malcolm for the backing up of what I said about Jake. I did not want to name the clubs myself in case I started an argument off!
-
Somewhere in the NL section it has been said that TWO teams wanted Jake this year but were refused the right to use him due to riding in the Australian Nationals which makes him a full Australian with GB partiality. So unless someone at the BSPA changes their mind, he can not ride at all in the NL, he can only appear in the PL or EL..
-
I thought that Adam was out into the EL & PL so 11.6 down with still no hopes of keeping the majority of the 2012 team....then we had to have 7 to conform with 2013 team building regulations........Then at least 4 more had to move to accommodate this.... so we had to add 5 to the 2 we kept from 2012 to keep within the 2013 40 point limit! hope this make sense as does anybody really know, except NP, CVS, GP & Will, who replaced who in my beloved Heathens?
-
Take them to Monmore Wood on a Tuesday night for a NL, CH or the Golden 'Ommer..................they would probably change their tune unless they were blind as the multitude cannot be wrong! Once a Heathen always a Heathen !
-
I would have to reopen a 21st Century version of Cradley's old stamping ground...Dudley Wood, complete with all mod cons here in the Black Country or a bit farther out into the countryside! Until then, Monmore Wood on a Tuesday night will have to do I would have to reopen a 21st Century version of Cradley's old stamping ground...Dudley Wood, complete with all mod cons here in the Black Country or a bit farther out into the countryside! -
I read somewhere that the Heathens fixtures, so I presume the rest of the NL, would be sorted out AFTER the EL & PL got theirs done!
-
Hope this comes off sooner rather than later, we could do with another team in the NL.
-
This is what I meant to say...............I missed a word out in my post which changed the question! Why are Dudley not in the NL Trophy when we are supposed to have enough race nights at Monmore to hold PL racing? Can some one from Dudley clue me in or is it being delayed as per Jayne said about Buxton?
-
If Buxton are thinking the NL trophy over, why are we at Dudley already in it? Can someone answer from Dudley?
-
Hey he would probably fit in at Dudley...............he is or was a Club CH Heathen way back so why not??????????
-
Good news about Sittingbourne, pity it is the Raiders that are going there BUT it is another stand alone team in the NL, now are there anymore surprises to be sprung before the AGM in January?????
-
I would like to welcome Lewis Blackbird as a 2013 Heathen. http://www.dudleyheathens.co/news.php?extend.714 Hope this link works as I have never posted one before, if not to the Dudley Heathends we site for the article. Nice to know that he actually asked to be a Heathen and must be a steal on a 7.01 starting average! 4 Heathens signed, 3 new Heathens to get!
-
Hi Greyhoundp, If, and I did say, if you can get your hands on the local Dudley News (28th November 2012) on the back page it has an article that says that Tom had to leave due to his 9.88 average and what a nightmare Nigel has had since last Thursday! Adam, Tom, Darryl, Byron & Jamie were shown the exit door due to rebuilding for NL 2013 rebuilding BUT when the time is right Tom & Ash could be back in the PL............hopefully this time next year! We should have 5, yes I did say 5, new signings for 2013, so who are the missing 4?????????????????? The 3 we have got so far, Ash, Dan & Max seem to be happy bunnies due to their comments! Regards, Bernie
-
According to tonight's local rag Byron won't be back either, we have only kept Ash & Dan from the League Leaders 2012 side! Now that is some rebuild to do in time for 2013..........at least we have added Max who is an excellent prospect.
