  1. Came from Scorpion's press officer, so must have been sanctioned by Rob Godfrey (Scunthorpe Promotor and Vice Chairman of BSPA ) first. More info to follow according to Scorpion's site.
  2. Like it , but think Barker will go further South. Douglas will want mega pay deal after Leicester too.
  3. When Worrall gates he is ok ,if he doesn't then he's not interested-It's a no from me. Charles Wright or Kyle Howarth would be good- more racers than gating tarts please.
  4. I can see both Danny and Jason wearing Scorpion colours again next season.
  5. No way will points limit be 38 as it has been a disaster. This league will revert back to 42.5 or 40 points at the minimum.
  6. Think Garrity is Scunthorpe asset swopped for MPT.
  7. Good to tell you are Scorpions PR man. Last races meant nothing? Well tell that to a stand full of supporters around me , who were incensed that the track had not been graded but, actually bladed and outside line totally removed, robbing us of actual racing instead of follow the leader hugging the inside.
  8. Yeah we liked the track at Glasgow, but the Tigers didn't. Our promotor is too busy ripping the track up and taking air fence down for next day stockcars to attend to after meeting event.
  9. What the hell did Rob get the blade out for and ruin a track that was perfectly acceptable to the Scorpions? Managed to gift the Bears a point making the track slick with only an inside line and follow the leader round.
  10. We don't have a team of gaters, but rather a team of racers that like to ride the fence. On many occasions this season we have not had an outside line. That is where we have missed a trick . Perhaps the track curator should go to the after meeting riders get together and listen to what his team riders think of the track.
  11. Was the track so great this year? Myself, other fans and some of the riders themselves think the track has not been up to previous year's standard. Rob needs to listen to what his riders want, rather than what track conditions he wants to produce.
  12. Back to the main topic and hoping for a safe meeting for all riders and a Scorpion win.
  13. Massive win well done scorpions. Feels like we just won the cup final.
  14. Massive win well done scorpions. Feels like we just won the cup final.
  15. With Jake allowed an extra ride, not much point signing anyone on so late in the season with only pride to ride for.
  16. Rob's number 1 fan gets his wires crossed again!
  17. Drew for Danny Ayres? At least the track will suit his style more.
  18. Agreed, that's what I and others around me said, when he goaded riders to jump holding the tapes too long at other meetings I have attended.
  19. Yes predictive text is such a pitther. Past tense of race is raced-, too old now, but just content to ride my 1200cc superbike.
  20. What do you expect from TJ when in 3 of his rides he was up against Josh Auty or Jake Allen? Nobody could get anywhere near both of the Scorpions last night including ex Scorpion Capt. Worrall. Nice to see Phillips pick up a point, oh no I forgot, gifted a point!
  21. First visit to Berwick and a nice set up. Looking at the track seemed bare ,dry and packed down hard- with the dubious forecast a no brainer really. Being used to the wide open plains of the EWR, the track seemed quite narrow, enormous long straights and a bit bumpy. On to the racing and very much a gate and go meeting. We were dire out of the gate ,but after a few watering sessions of the by now very dusty track, our boys at last found their gating boots. Congrats to the Bandits another few heats and we might have had a better result but still a respectable final score line for us on our travels. Well done to Lambo on a superb laying down to avoid a major collision with Kevin Doolan. Despite injuring his hand in doing so, he was also so quick to jump up and see how Kevin was and helping him back to his feet- nice to see some rider camaraderie. Sincerely hope Bandits survive good luck for the future. ps why is the F***in A1 between Newcastle and Wetherby always subject to night closures and diversions- 4 hours to get home and not sparing the horses!
  22. Thanks, some conflicting weather forecasts on the net, but setting off 1.30 ish and will check in on here again somewhere up the A1.
  23. Can any Bandit give local forecast mid afternoon before I commit to a 7 hour round trip please.
  24. R/R makes us very weak and we will sorely miss Danny Ayres, we need all 6 to step up their away performances as we have been poor all season on the road. Heart says sneak a point, head says, same old, same old and another away defeat.
