How about
1 Jason Garrity 8.46
2 Dimitri Berge 4.14
3 Robert Lambert 8.34
4 Josh Bates 5.58
5 Kenneth Bjerre 8.22 (EL converted average)
6 Richard Hall 4.04
7 Arthur Sissis 3.71
Total 42.49.
Sure it will not happen though.
Agree totally. If Sheffield had not made play off season would have been over by August. In the past could expect (rain permitting) speedway on a continual basis, Mid March to late October. I always left every Thursday free for this reason. I now am wondering if, when I see "reserved/open" in next years fixtures whether to bother leaving that date free. Something for the promoters to consider as they do not want to lose the "go to every one" fans.
Just looked back at the archives page on Sheffield Website for 2006. A total of 33 matches at Owlerton that season. Only 22 this year. Hardly surprising so many riders want to double up. Also the reason I do not buy a season ticket. I reckon it cost me £295 to get in to all matches they were valid for. I could have bought a season ticket for £300.
Anyone got any info on when the cut off dates for pay off dates is? Last scheduled Premier League match appears to be 20th September, but 13th September is likely to be the last one for any team likely to be in the play offs (assuming rain does not interfere). Could be a long gap before next Owlerton match.
If we do a multi re-declaration though, can we add together the combined averages of all the riders being replaced, and ensure that the incoming total is less, or must it be purely a one on one comparison?
Just looked at Elite League averages and see Dakota North average now under 6. I wonder if we could get him, Andre, and Adam Ellis to replace Simon, Nicolai and Arthur. Not sure about converted averages for Dak so not sure if would work out OK or not.
Slightly off topic, but does anyone know a Post Code for somewhere near the Buxton track (for Sat Nav). Once I get somewhere near will be able to find the track. Thanks
Garrity's average is too high for him to replace Poole.Would have thought the management would have been considering their options as soon as they knew the possibility of being refused permission for Poole.
Slightly off current topic, but anyone know why Sheffield have not entered MDL this year
Fixtures out, but no mention of a PLRC at any track as far as I can see. Anyone know if this been scrapped?
We also appear to have Plymouth in the League Cup, but not in the League. Is this an error, or is there some more complicated explanation.
