Still only a little rain, and I live near the track. Assume they will try their best to get this one on. -

Been dry so far in Sheffield -
What, like a certain announcer (on the Scunny centre green) on the May day Monday match saying he knew the line up, but would not tell us?
-
looking back at 2006, 33 matches at Owlerton that year. Gradual decrease since then, never heard any explanation as to why. In view of the deceasing number of matches, not surprising so many riders want (need) to double up.

Not been a meeting on the fixture list for 05 May for Sheffield since they were published. Would presume no meeting, unless tomorrow is off and hastily re-arranged. -
Thanks for the reply. If it was never on Scunny's fixtures I apologise I probably got the relevant fixture from the Sheffield website. Would have checked that before Scunny's as Sheffield is my home town. Did not think to double check for inconsistencies. Two fixtures I thought seemed unusual at the time, Sheffield's potential away fixture 25 July v Scunny, and the fact that we still have a provisional fixture on Sunday 15th May (seems even more unusual now Glasgow are staging British semi on that date. Is there a provisional date for this match, or are Scunny awaiting to see if they beat Newcastle first?
-
No intention of going to a Cradley fixture
-
I thought it was on both Scunny and Sheffield's website(I know I wrote this provisional fixture in my diary when fixtures first published). I note Sheffield have a provisional date for Newcastle away, should Newcastle win, and I am sure a provisional date for the fixture at Scunny was listed as I intended to call at Scunny on my was back from a weekend at the east coast, should Scunny get to the second round. I will have got the info from the earliest publication of the fixtures. I have re-checked my diary with Scunny's latest list, and the only other changes I can see is the Glasgow start time, the addition of the British Semi, both of which happened after the original list, and the removal of May 15th as reserved date, presumably as Glasgow have British Semi on that date. Is there any provisional date to host Sheffield, in the event of them beating Newcastle, or will this be decided after the first round.
-
Then why was the date provisionally in the fixtures?
-
Could not make it up. Went to Scunny last Sunday, meeting delayed, no paramedic, Buxton this week, no ref. Wonder what it will be next. Thanks for weather updates. Thanks to the ref who stood in at last minute
-
Just noticed, that the provisional home date of 25 July, for the second round of the KO cup has been removed from the fixtures? Anyone know why this is? Are Scunny so confident of defeat in the first round?
-
If any locals could give weather update Sunday would be useful. Thanks
-
Hints of team changes for May given on Sunday. Would the following team meet all regulations. 1 Auty 2 Davies 3 Compton 4 Proctor 5 Douglas 6 Wilkinson 7 Bailey
-
Poor show by the home team. Did not appreciate the delays on such a cold windy night. For a club that says "it gets on with it" race 2 starting 30 minutes after the scheduled start time, and two hours to finish the match on a cold night, will think again before going to more evening matches. Few years ago they said they were going to have afternoon matches early season because it gets too cold, so why not??. Would afternoon starts not be better for away fans. Next match Plymouth. Their fans would be unlikely to get back prior to 1 AM.

I believe a guest facility is available as he is on EL duty, but would not be if he was injured
