  5. Taken your advice Joanne and have booked into the Pyramida...so who else is going to be there?
  6. I'm also thinking of going but really want someone to go with....... God that sounds so sad
  7. Well if they did get chosen then I would certainly change my mind and probably go to it!!
  8. Another good day out but as others have said the atmosphere was a little flat compared to other years. I did however make it to the forum meet up this year but this meant sacrificing seeing the youngsters doing their bit in the stadium...why oh why have them on so early, it would really get people going if they came on after the GP warm up band. Was great to meet some new faces (Vog and er .....well just Vog really) and say hello to familiar faces in the beautiful weather we had. After being a little reticent about having 4th bend seats I have to say I loved it there, although we did move up the top tier about a quarter of the way through to avoid the sun glare and also to sit with the very large Chivsy group including the Fairies....this certainly made the fun even better. Next year though, I am definately staying over.......I do not want that journey again, left my house at 9am, Ipswich at 10am and arrived at Cardiff at 4.45 then straight after the fireworks a mad dash back to the coach (he had said he was leaving at 10.30 and if you wasn't onboard then he was going to just leave you there! Thankfully enough people hadn't arrived, well none actually so he didn't carry out his threat) leave Cardiff at 11pm and arrive back to my home at nearly 5am....shattered.
  9. It was said on the Ippo forum by someone that Mark had a groin injury...not sure whether this is correct or not though.
  10. Well done Jason and Simon on winning the pairs.

  13. Urgent......our texter seems to be incommunicado. Does anyone know of someone at the meeting who could text some results through? Edit....this has now been sorted (well a while ago actually)
  14. I can clarify Nevs that this is nothing to do with us at Speedway Update.....we would never make any kind of profit out of the updates....or indeed ask anyone to make payment for the service. Plus I would be interested to know where the information is coming from.....does this service have texters at most tracks like we do? Or are they taking the info from somewhere else?
  15. Strangley my eldest son is looking forward to Bonnie Tyler.......
  16. Must admit I have been watching the weather as well over the last few days....one point I was planning on wearing jeans and a t shirt but that may now change to crop trousers and a t shirts....you will not find me wearing shorts amongst people I know!!!!!!
