I can't leave home until 9am so am hoping to get to Cardiff approx 2pm (to the hotel) and maybe 3ish to the pub. Chivs if you are reading this, have sent you an email regarding tickets!!

Yeah Steve, you see at my age, you tend to forget who you actually put the points on...the ones you thought of first, or the ones you finally decided to go with! So I knew that I lost some with Hans (blooming chain, Lindback etc) and won some with Nicki. For a little while there I was counting my chickens before they hatched and thinking ...wow I am actually going to get points on both my picks.

I had points on both Nicki AND Hans (I think)

In one way I feel sorry for those up the other end of the country who will now find it difficult, if not impossible to make it to this meeting, on the other hand, there are others down this end of the country who can now make it to the meeting....me being one of them. Does seem very strange though to have the switch this late after the tickets have been on sale for a while, people arranged time off etc etc. I really do think more explanation should be forthcoming from the powers that be on this matter.

So glad that I took the forgetting of my purse as a sign and not bother going as it was called off at the time I would have been arriving at the track. Feel so sorry for those who travelled a long distance to this, must be awful to go that far, only just arrived and then for it to be called off. I ended up taking the kids out for a carvery meal, very nice too but don't think the scales will show much movement (apart from maybe upwards!) at Weight Watchers on Wednesday.

Well I got to the local garage to fill up and realised I left my purse at home, so on reflection have decided I am not going to risk it. The rain is non-stop here and will probably head Peterborough's way.

Yeah, I am a good hour and 45mins away depending on traffic (ok not as far as others I know) and with the kids, I am not sure whether to take the risk. I already know of 2 people who have decided to give it a miss, and they are travelling from the same place as me. Even if they do get the meeting on, the thought of standing there with 3 kids getting soaked is not one I really want.

Decisions decisions....do I go for it or do I stay at home and watch F1. Hmm, I have 2 hours to make my mind up!

Absolutely bloody brilliant!! Wonderful riding by Bomber and some of his moves really made you want to hide behind the cushion...how did he find the space?? No voice left to shout for him in the final as I lost it in the semi shouting him on.......think I worried the neighbours just a tad.
