Nothing odd about it really, people prefer different things and at least they would get the relevant info in Polish rather than English. And guys - you make me feel so embarrassed! It's only a few early mornings and no real rushing about for the Aussie champs....and I love covering this series. I also get a thrill getting phone calls from Australia

Ahh...thought it was unusual as they are normally very good. It's the other site I am not impressed with (the one where I had to ban one of their members on updates)

Thanks, it is annoying and I will be having words with them (they get paid for them!) but sometimes I do feel we can all get a little too 'eek' over it all. Think the time has come for a polite reminder from my Polish friend in their own language....I get hopelessly lost when they reply to me in Polish!

Very unusual for sportowefakty to do that...although they do have permission to use them but only if they credit (even if they just put from a UK site - as long as they don't pretend it is their own work and get paid for it). There was another one I had problems with this morning, banned one person from that site but another person got them for it anyway....I then thought life is too short to get in a mither about it.

We have tricked them on occasions to catch them out......and a nicely written email soon follows from a Polish friend. Not much we can do to stop them though apart from banning the worst offenders, although most now give some credit.

BFD has got a really sexy voice too...next time though, be nice if he called me when I wasn't about to go for a pre update wee and making me rush down the stairs at the rate of an idiot! Still, two sexy voices before 11 am......great stuff!

To keep an eye on the thread plus update plus watch a meeting is a lot of work to do and some mobiles are still not capable (or some people don't have the data allowance) to do it, plus of course site permissions. As I said, some texters already do it direct onto the site from the track but then they have also been confident updaters in the past..you would be surprised the amount still out there who don't quite like or are not too sure of technology. As for the Aussie champs...I love it and don't mind doing them at all, I look forward to them every year! The busy life has chilled for the Christmas holidays which has meant that all hospital appointments and study is suspended. But I really love doing the Aussie Champs meetings

Yep SCB, it is something we have seen more of over the last season or so....either direct from the track on an internet enabled mobile or with the use of MSN on a mobile to save the cost of texts. I could do it on my phone but the coding does make it a slightly longer job and with having the boys at the track, it is sometimes all I can do to actually send a text! But the flexibility is there, the technology is there and we are utilising it as much as we possibly can...saves me a few headaches too!

I've thought of various ways around it...for example, someone at the meeting in Aus texting to someone else in Aus who can then send it through to me via MSN, or someone with MSN on their phone, MSNing direct from the meeting to me (if it can work like that, we do a few meetings over here with that system). I don't use Skype at all...I prefer using audio via MSN with a headset (I use that every night), same sort of thing as Skype but a lot less hassle.

Hehe BFD...prove it! Yep, me and Lunchy will be providing updates for the qualifier and the first two rounds. Unfortunately, Lunchy is unable to text the final round as he is announcing so if anyone fancies sending me texts (yeah I know it is expensive from Aus to GB) for the final round, then please let me know.
