Can I just state here for the record (as owner and big(boobed ) boss of Speedway Updates), I have absolutely no problems with teams having their own updates, I completely support it. I am good friends with Midnight Lady and as sites, we have always worked together, in fact we are working together tonight, for the good of the speedway fans as a whole. I have always been a supporter of choice and wide information and having the various sites working together increases the information that can be given to those unable to make a meeting....I actually have as many different updates open possible when I am watching an away meeting, just so I can get a real feel for what is going on, we all carry differing information and opinion after all. I like the Chatzone, have been a member there for many many years when Edinburgh was my Prem team (in honour of my heritage) and have always been made to feel very very welcome every time I have popped my head in and said hello (unfortunately, a rare occurance now due to time contraints) So please, do not argue over who has the best or where people should be going for updates, let's just all get on and enjoy what people (on whatever site) are providing.....after all, each site has the same common aim, the bring the meeting to those who can't attend. Believe you me, if I did live commentary, the air would be possibly very blue or you would think I have visited Planet Zog! I try not to be biased, sometimes I succeed, sometimes I fail......

Just a word of warning, if anyone was planning on watching this on Updates, we are really struggling for an updater (40 texts sent thus far with no results in an attempt to secure one), so there is a very real possibility that we may not be covering the meeting. I apologise in advance for this.

We didn't even leave home, we decided (whilst sat outside my house in the car) we were going to leave it as late as we could before leaving to still be there for the first heat...luckily the news came in with just a couple of minutes to spare! We learnt from last time.....

No clue if it happened or not to be honest, I know as much (or as little) as everyone else on here.....which is not a lot!

I disagree. If, as reported, the exclusion from the meeting was because of the conduct involving the poor wee heater, then he was rightly excluded and very much in the wrong...no matter what the inital provocation was. I say this as a Cookie fan rather than an Ipswich Barker fan (he is certainly not on my list of favourite riders), so bias towards Barker is not forthcoming from this quarter. It's rather like one of my boys whispering something to another and then the receiver of the comment going mental whilst I am giving them both a talking to and breaking things belonging to someone else (usually mine), it is completely out of proportion to the initial comment.
