I'm seriously wondering why I put myself through this week after week, especially now I don't have anyone to moan to during the blooming meeting! There was not one person within 15 feet of me tonight so I really felt quite alone, I think it is obvious now that this will be the state of play for the rest of the season for me as the one who used to come with me has not been at all this season and shows no interest in doing so. Annoyingly, had the meeting still been next week, eldest son would have come with me as he is back from uni for a short time then but with the move of meeting to this week and the next meeting the day he goes back to High Wycombe, it will be the horrible Billy no mates experience once again. If this continues for the rest of the season, I really don't know if I could face repeating the exercise next year.

I'm going to go with my normal pessimistic view, it has worked for me so well in the past. I always struggle when we ride against Edinburgh, back in our Elite days Edinburgh was my PL team as a nod to my half Scottish heritage so I generally find myself shouting on both teams! I usually end up a very confuzzled Crazyone (or should that be Boringone?)

Nope, a Peugeot 5008. My old Peugeot had a brilliant sized glovebox, mine used to contain the entire service history which bearing in mind it was 18 years old when I sold it onto my brother, that was a fair few bits of paper and oodles of Cds.

Yeah, I have become the boring one just recently. Not sure BoringSue has the same ring to it though....

My glove box in the car is empty save for a scrunched up small shopping bag. Weird but true, massive car, tiny glovebox that you can't even fit a blooming CD in! My post meeting regime is generally looking at the Updates to try and find a team who did worse than us in a bid to make me feel happier, been a bit unlucky just recently in that quest.

Hehe and my wobbly bits wouldn't make it round to the back straight...someone would have to carry me back and not sure it would be worth the hernia for the poor unfortunate person who had to do that.

Despite no forecasted rain, it looks like I am Billy no mates again tonight. Hmm, me thinks the rain excuse was just that, an excuse and he has fallen out of love with speedway but is too afraid/proud/wimpish to admit it.

I'm a rock fan personally, love a bit of Maiden or ACDC, Guns and Roses etc, My particular favourite though is gothic rock...although I can be found quite happily bopping away to 80's music from time to time.
