Aww thankyou for the offer. I can't put you to so much trouble though plus youngest is rather eek at the moment as a result of the crash (eek as in unsettled, not injured - he has autism), so it is probably best if I stick around the house. We are all ok, no injuries bar a few bruises. I best get in contact with him! Heads been all over the place since Monday and it completely went out of my head to do so.... Edit - he is either a mind reader or read my post as soon as it went up as he contacted me literally a minute after posting offering to text.

Looking very unlikely I will be there, had a crash on Monday and they are taking my car for repairs tomorrow.

Edinburgh were my prem team when we were Elite in honour of my dad who was born in Scotland....now it is Ipswich 1st and Edinburgh 2nd leading to me being very torn on which riders to shout for when they are riding each other!

I think I am a quarter member - I'm active (ish) on here, I usually go to all the home meetings but missed two at the start of July for my holidays so only the last two have been attended and I only took a noise making instrument last week. However, my kids and ex husband always say that when I open my mouth, it is loud enough and that has been used regularly at meetings to encourage the riders (no, not calling them horrible names!), sometimes to the horror of those around me who keep deathly quiet. If things go to plan, I may be bringing a couple of extra to the next one, one an Ex BSF child member (eldest son) and the other the artist normally known as MADDRUM5 (middle son)

I most certainly did, it felt like the old days when we had a large and very vocal group on the home straight. They really do need to sort those speakers out though, pain in the bum not being able to hear reserve switches and I must have driven those around me mad with constantly asking for times or confirmation of riders. Must admit to feeling a little shell shocked to begin with but it didn't take me long to get in the swing of things and bashing my cow bell with gusto.

That would be great if you could Baldyman.. Josh has given me an instrument to bash!

I would love for you all to move to the home straight, would mean that I wouldn't have to try to get over the other side of the stadium! I may well try to get over there...might need someone to come prop me up around the 2nd bend. Oh dear, that would be a broken back for the one carrying me! I'd squash him!

I have no idea why Chris didn't contact me directly, he knows who runs the Updates, he knows where I sit and in the early days been able to get a message to me if something was posted that the promotion were not quite happy with. As with everything, if you have a problem with something, you go to the boss and talk it out and as we both have brands to protect, I would have been far happier with that approach and things would probably have been resolved without the need for umpteem posts about it all which is damaging for all concerned...just glad I didn't actually get a chance to read the programme on Thursday, I was on enough of a downer as it was. Macca - The posts on Updates minus the main meeting template are deleted a few days/week after the meeting as ongoing housekeeping. It used to take us weeks of constant work in the closed season tidying everything up (needed as we are such a large, server hungry site), that we changed the way we did it and kept us sane as hours and hours of constant deleting is very much a mind numbing, insanity inducing exercise.
