Well that doesn't quite agree with the photos I have of his pit area taken at Cardiff this year. OK he doesn't have the posh stands around him, but his bikes are lovely and clean, shiny even, things are organised and he certainly doesn't have old bread crates, nice funky plastic boxes yes. In fact his area looked no worse than quite a few others in the pits.

You are right there Tabby, yes, we would love to see Scotty win a GP and would go mental when he does, but Shazzy is also right in that a lot of Ippo fans are chuffed that one of their riders did win......does that make any sense?

I would think that any team that DOESN'T want to sign him want its head testing. A young rider who is likely to be around the top for years to come. Personally I hope Ipswich hang on to him. So do I

Anyway,all this is detracting from what this thread is about......congratulating Hans on a fine win.

I'm afraid that is where you are wrong, Hans doesn't even feature in my top 5., and as to what he has supposedly done, put it this way, if you had problems on the motorway going 60-70mph you would look round to make sure no-one hits you up the a*se. We saw no Prob at all in that meeting but then we didn't have the luxury of having sky tv putting ideas in our heads, We lost that meeting through bad luck,bad gates etc..not through cheating.

And that is what I am remembering from the day as well Shazzy, except it was my son with the look on his face when he met his hero Mikael Max, he was so chuffed and spent all day going around saying he met Miccy Max (he can't quite say it right yet). The look on my eldest sons face when he got caught up in the excitement of cheering on the Brits....and all the kids when Nicki Pedersen was giving out photos and signing them while we were waiting in the queue........priceless and a day I will remember for ever.

Did you see the ones on his website, some on them were really quite awful and were threatening all manner of things. I was disgusted with it all and I am not surprised he is saying he is worried about the threats.
