What do you mean by proper world championship? To me it's very comparable to MotoGP, WSB, World Rally, F1 in terms of how many competitors change from year to year. Oh, and none of them other World Championships have a qualifying series at all, participation is purely down to money.

How do you work that out? If a rider has the talent and mental toughness he'll have a good chance of winning the title. Doesn't matter what the system is, there can only be one winner per season.

That was a cracking race and for only 3rd place. They were knocking ten shades sh!t out of each other. Nikki v Emil earlier was edge of the seat stuff as well. But these things never happened............
