Which is just a stupid rule. The only reason is to keep the power at old men. If a rider is able to get enough points by riding in less GPs to be in the top 8 at the end, then he should qualify directly as it is a clear indication of the riders form compared to the "established riders". No matter if it is a WC rider or a qualifyed reserve rider. It would be more fair if the Qualification rounds (Grand Final) were given 10 places, + 2 qualifyed reserves, in the next years GP seria so it would look like this : The top 3 in the GP 1 WC (like now), 10 qualifying riders from the Grand Final. and the remaining 2 will be for nominated riders. + 2 qualified reserves from the Grand Final

No, as a result of his performance in the last 2 GPs. (that is the officiel arguementation, but only the people "inside" knows the real reason). I believe he was just watching the line, and decided from what he saw. There are very seldom TV in Danish speedway as aid for the refs.

According to the papers, Stekker has sacked NP because of his 2 last results in the GPs. The argument is that Stekker wanted to take of some preassure and give NP some room to concentrate on his GP buisiness. NP has responded, in the paper, that he would work hard and serious in the SWC, but he could not see himself back as the captain on the national team as long Stekker was in charge. Furthermore Stekker believes Hans is having the mental energy to lead the team due to his results lately.

It is furthermore said that the ref. had big troubles to call a winner, as Bjarne took NP on th line. NP was sure he had won, and refused to go on the podium as no. 2. NP is riding "up the hill" for the moment. He has been fired as captain of the national team as well. Stekker has choosen Hans A. instead.

Whom might that be ? ? ? ? IMO this is not the stronges Danish team at all.

As I read the Program from Outrup, it is like you says, but it is not the points from the first 20 heats in Outrup that counts. It is the points from the finnishing order. F.ex. KB will bring 17 points with him and Jonas will take 9 points with him from his last place in the C-final, instead of the 13 points a last spot in the B-final would have given as a minimum had the heat 12 result been standing.

Hya Doug! The "flag-marshall" had taken the wrong flag to flaf-off the race. He was supposed to take the squared flag, but had grapped the red instead. As I see it a very bottled decission from the ref, as the heat was over at that time. But he followed the written rule instead of common sense, just my opinion as the heat was over. Very sad decission for Jonas as he would have had a spot in the B-final then. I'm sorry. Doug, I was at the "Camp Bjerre" between the gates and bend 1. My son (he is almost 6 years) and I had both Yellow Kenneth Bjerre T-shirts.

Kenneth was a lot more confident in his actions tonight. He had a lot more agression, and attacked the opponents, and the track, the right way. The performance shows that Kenneth is on his way back to the top, which is very promissing before next weekend's GP-qualifier.

Hya Doug! It is just a simple spreadsheet in EXCELL. I have tried to chance it to an HTM document, but it became so big that it covered 4 normal pages. And I'm not big computer-freak to know how to do it different. hmmmm, might be some room for improvement here
