  1. And it's explained to you every time you put forward your ridiculous, nonsensical argument. No other league has so many fixtures and such a disjointed schedule so there is absolutely no comparison. It's not Woffinden's job to 'help the sport here'. It's amazing that anyone would bring that up as a reason why he should ride here. It is Woffinden's job to do the very best he can to achieve his career goal of being the best he can, win as many World Titles as he can, make as much money as he can whilst maintaining a work/life balance. Of course he rode here when he 'needed' it. Now he doesn't need it he doesn't need to ride here. That's life. Do you work in the same place you started out? How dare you use them to gain experience and then move onto something better. It doesn't need to be proven because it is blatantly obvious. I will categorically state that EVERY SINGLE young British rider would accept being a 2 time World Champion by Tai's age and earning the money he is. Please, please keep posting though. It gives many of us great pleasure seeing just how jealous and bitter you are and that you can do nothing about it as Tai continues to win races, earn plenty of money and enjoys an amazing life.
  2. Is it? Was not riding for Britain the fault of Scott Nicholls and Lee Richardson too? Just because they wanted the individual glory of riding in the British Final but not represent their country... Tai's not so selfish
  3. Very true, but none of that is relevant to one of clubs post. The discussion isn't about comparisons.. but 'facts' as one of club says. The facts are PC was World Speedway Champion once, Woffinden twice.
  4. Ah but you forget, Peter Collins won the British title once also... oh wait. Before anyone starts, not taking a pop at Peter Collins at all.
  5. Makes no difference to me, but I'm not a bitter jealous failed rider so it's difficult to relate to.
  6. If that makes them better and leads to more success, go for it. It's up to British Speedway to sort it's own problems out so that riders don't feel the need to 'clear off'. Speaking of being bright.. you'd have to be pretty dumb to work for about half the money for twice the hours and numerous varying days a week rather than two fixed ones.... that's what your advocating though.
  7. You're right, no youngster wants to be a 2 time World Champion. Let's hope all future British riders follow Robert72 and be crap as a rider and spend the rest of their life as a keyboard warrior.
  8. Irrelevant when the other leagues are on fixed nights with a light schedule. If I was in Tai's position I wouldn't be racing in the UK either.. and I would say 99% of those moaning would be the same.
  9. Personally I think it's a disgrace. Speedibees' lad would be World Champion by now if it weren't for those foulmouthed Aussie scum and now these bloody kids.
  10. I'm pretty confident you won't be selected.
  11. Because he is sensible and is making something of his career, not sat bitching and whining and blaming everyone under the sun for their failures.
  12. Correct. At least it's not just the Australians fault anymore, now it's young kids.
  13. Think of them.. it won't take you long. You could multiply it by a large number for the number of Poles who didn't live up to the early promise. The point is, as was explained to you earlier in the thread, only a very small % will ever reach the top. The larger crop you have coming through, the more chance you will have. For a long time GB hasn't had much of a crop coming through, there are signs that is beginning to change. That can only be a good thing.
  14. Good promotion, well done to the club for that.
  15. He makes a very valid point though.. although, it can be said that is the case with all countries.. others have just had a bigger supply of riders so that a few more of them got over that hump. Hopefully with a greater number of riders coming through the UK can begin to do the same in the years to come.
  16. Actually it is. Perhaps someone should point out to you that having your first child is one of the biggest experiences you will ever have in life and the majority of people celebrate that fact on social media these days. The fact that people have to try and twist it to their petty vendetta's is really quite sad.
  17. Pathetic post just to have another dig. Having children is the biggest project anyone will undertake in life. And you compare that to a training scheme in a minority sport in second rate country (in terms of the sport)? Get a grip man.
  18. Please keep the bitter, jealous comedy posts coming! Each and every one a classic.
  19. It's not hard to see why some folk make it and others don't. Imagine someone starting out and having this kind of attitude behind them.. they'd be doomed to failure. Oh wait... Anyhow.. you stick to taking 'no way' and bitching and moaning on a speedway forum. Woffinden will take his way, be a two time World Champion, earning lots of money doing something he loves and leading a dream lifestyle.
  20. Then clearly you have been living in a bubble. 'Marginally more entertaining than Hancock'. If you're going to try and have a conversation about speedway at least put your biases to one side. Woffinden isn't the best of gaters, nowhere near Hancock in that department, yet he's bagged two world titles and 2nd last year. Tough to do that without overtaking a few. I'd be confident in saying Woffinden has overtaken more than anyone in the GP's over the last three years or so. Not exciting? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTSyrQZRf4U
  21. TBF give me 7 riders who have a whinge about the track but add 2pts to their average and I'll take it.. and the league title.
  22. He IS also one of the most entertaining riders, unless you've been living in a bubble.
