  1. That's not the discussion. Although a cursory glance at the Speedway Star reveals Tai Woffinden as the No 1 in the averages on 9.93. Of course that includes Elite League, Elite Shield and Play off matches. As Tai only rode in EL matches, his figure remains 9.93. Did Holder better that in just EL outings, or combined? No he didn't.
  2. Anyone who says Ward was the best rider in the world in 2013 is quite simply biased and deluded. They have nothing to back it up. Absolutely nothing. Was he the best rider in any league he competed in? No he wasn't. In fact in Poland he averaged a mere 7.6??
  3. Keep trying, someone might bite soon.
  4. You've 'peddalled' this line of Birmingham's attendances increased after WM stopped broadcasting, have you got any evidence to back up it was BECAUSE of that? I seem to remember a number of 'cut price meetings' and appeals to save the club that will have boosted the crowd, plus as the season went on it became more apparent that Birmingham had a title contending team which of course also will have bolstered the crowd.
  5. Only the fools who haven't grasped if they believe that then the PL have been ripping them off for years.
  6. It was in jest. Neither was it Motors TV camerawork.
  7. Not sure what planet you are on, but it sure isn't this one. Yeah Motors TV coverage was not on the same par as Eurosports marvellous camerawork...
  8. His first words are.. This is NOT the race format but it COULD........ That means it's a hypothetical post.
  9. I didn't know such lines were still going to be honest. Has to be at least 20 years since used such a number, maybe more and that would have been the results line.
  10. So basically at the end of all this.. its not an 'entirely different sport' as Tsunami claimed in his attack on Gustix. Its table tennis with different bats. The Ping-Pong is just the Hearn marketing.
  11. So it's basically table tennis with a slightly larger ball and a standardized bat, is that it?
  12. I did expect you would (and others) have mentioned it, but haven't paid much attention this off-season
  13. Apart from the rackets, in what way is it 'entirely different'? Curious as there doesn't seem to be much information available...
  14. More than likely. Then Wells will really struggle. Such riders will be desperate not to go higher in the team!
  15. Yes, it will to an extent. The main issue would be the season end averages. You could end up with such a rider on the same average as a top line rider.
  16. Racing is and was not much different from that of years ago. Racing back in the early 90's was a HELL of a lot more strung out than it is now for example.
  17. Not read through the thread, so not sure if it has been mentioned.. but. If the heat leaders are going to be against each other even more often than now, it will mean their averages will drop. If the second strings are going to be racing against the NL riders etc, their averages are going to rise quite a bit. It could make a very strange set of figures... and for smart clubs, perhaps opportunities to exploit?
  18. There are going to be some very strange averages come the end of the season, with the top riders racing each other more often there averages will come down further... while the 4th and 5th riders averages will boom....
  19. You also have the option of not taking out a loan through Wonga...
  20. Latest ban over I see. Sadly nothing to add to the thread other than abuse once again.
  21. Correct. Piotr Pawlicki and Ricky Wells complete the team.
  22. Clearly you don't understand the concept of a 'year'.
