Most folk haven't made the SAME mistakes as Ward has made, that isn't a pathetic statement at all, simply reality and the reason why some people have taken a dislike to him. There are a number of people on this forum who were in one camp and over the course of the last couple of seasons have posted to say they were wrong. I haven't seen one single person post about changing their minds the other way. For a simple snapshot of the general opinion one only has to look at the number of 'likes' my initial post garnered, compared to yours presenting the opposite view. You yourself were complaining last season about the way the sport is run and some of the events taking place, yet when somebody stood up against it, you lambast them.

IF he emulates Tai and becomes super professional in his approach to racing (not just relying on natural ability) then he can go on to win multiple titles I believe. That's an IF though.

The events of that close season, beginning from the moment Coventry won the play-offs are well documented. There were 2 distinct camps at the time amongst supporters, however it must be said that events SINCE that winter have seen many, many fans who were originally against the stance that Coventry/Peterboro took move towards them in the realisation they were right. It's only the Poole fans and some stubborn folk who simply refuse to admit they were wrong (even though hypocritically they have been up in arms at some of the events since) that refuse to accept it.

The answer to the question is quite simply, of course he can. Then again, so can all the other riders starting out in the GP. I can't wait for the series to get under way again and can only hope the issues with the SEC are resolved so Emil can take his place. Will Tai maintain the form of last year? Will Holder be fit enough to get back to where he was? Can NKI take the next step? Have Nicki P and Hancock got another 'big' season in them? Will Ward put his undoubted talent to use, stay fit and challenge? Can Hampel cut out the horror GP's he throws in that harm his hopes? So many of them have a shot, it's going to be great.

If it's so logical why haven't you been questioning the pricing of the PL for the past 5 or 6 seasons? After all it is a very watered down league isn't it, yet the price difference between EL and PL has been small.

I did afterwards, not that you answered it of course. There should be around £5-£6 difference between EL and PL. Either the PL prices are too high, or the EL is too low.

There are a great number of us who aren't happy with British speedway. I have been very vocal in the past about this. However, most of us have also, when voicing our complaints have presented ideas, alternatives, solutions etc. All you seem to do is whinge and whinge and blame most things on the Speedway Star. How about coming up with something constructive? You've told us that the 'top riders' (given one name, Chris Holder) are saying too many meetings are ruining British speedway. Yet the fans themselves are saying a lack of fixtures in recent seasons has been the cause for further decline. Let me ask you this, was Chris Holder bleating about too many meetings when he first arrived from Australia, or was he anxious to get as many meetings under his belt as possible?

Try and think of something original to say in your next post.. We've had nigh on 140 posts saying the same thing over and over.

Seen a number of posts on Facebook saying Emil Sayfutdinov has now officially withdrawn from the GP series. Can anyone confirm this 100%? If so this shambles needs sorting quickly.
