Clearly not reading the thread are you, unless going to Leicester without Pawlicki suits Wolves... There have been many occasions where CVS being on the management committee didn't favor Wolves. On a personal level, don't have any issues with him at all. Always been pleasant to deal with. For sure, haven't always agreed with some of his decisions.
-
It's nice of the Wolves promotion to let us know that Pawlicki will not be riding at Leicester on Saturday night... oh wait. Apart from TNT informing us above, is there any other mention of this anywhere?
-
Correct, sadly it is a notorious area and the scum are allowed to get away with it year after year. Be against their human rights to do anything about it.

The only negative on last night was once again the promotion showing zero regard for the paying public. It was a very, very cold night, it was beginning to rain and everyone was expecting there to be no interval. Cue the announcement after heat 10, "The interval will take place after heat 12". Cue a noticable grumble from the crowd and all around me complaining about it. This was a perfect opportunity for them to announce something along the lines of "Due to the very cold weather tonight and impending rain we won't be staging an interval so you can all get home and into the warm". That would have made the entire crowd happy and sent them home joyous following the emphatic win (bar the Brum fans). A minor negative on a good night, but another example of where speedway promoters let themselves down. Meanwhile, was thoroughly looking forward to going to Leicester on Saturday night before returning home on Sunday. Now the news that Pawlicki is going to be missing has already dampened my enthusiasm. First away match of the season and already he is missing...

I'm not saying you won't be right, but I don't see why the changes you mention will give teams more of a home advantage? Sidney hasn't been to an EL meeting this year

That's settled that one Screamer. -
Well, that boy Pawlicki is something special. I went to the meeting tonight with high hopes he would be good, he exceeded them. Awesome performace. Joe Jacobs was very impressive too, Ashley Morris dissapointing after Heat 2, not sure if nerves actually played a part He'll settle down, but I expect Jacobs to be the one who kicks on. All my fears over Proctor were allayed, he rode fine.

Ah so you are claiming Red Bull wouldn't want to know about anyone with tattoos etc. Funny that. http://www.redbull.com/cs/Satellite/en_INT/Sports-/Skate-Sports/001242745960405 Very first thing we see.. oh no! Its a tattoed man. -
It is a tricky match to start the season. Also throw in Paul Starke having good experience of the Monmore circuit. Now this is good news for when I go back home! Tonight though, I'm going to see the real thing

As John says above, given Mr Woffinden's skill set and the jobs he would be looking for employment in, i.e. that of a speedway rider, then yes, I would employ him. Folk are simply going to have to get used to tattooos and Ear Loops.. they're only going to become more and more present in society. -

Let's see. Polite, well mannered, stays out of trouble, dedicated, focused. Set his goals, achieved them, fighting through adversity throughout. Damn good role model.- 45 replies

Kings Lynn V Zielona Gora 19/03/14
BWitcher replied to tellboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The point being made is, the reserves, in order to ensure there aren't big mismatches are to be protected from racing against the top 2 riders on each team. With the way the format is, the teams 2nd strings, i.e. riders at 2 and 4 could well move up to heat leader positions and 2nd and 3rd heat leaders could move to 2 and 4.. thus then meaning they are up against the NL reserves and the mismatch that the format was designed to avoid will take place. I just hope there aren't any teams dumb enough to drop heat leaders half way/three quarters through the season who are averaging a lot less than their average (due to the format) and effectively giving certain other clubs an opportunity to sign them in place of their own second strings who have increased their averages. -
Nobody is on his back, there are however major concerns at this moment. Hopefully tomorrow will put some of those concerns to bed.
-
Yeah, the guy who hardly troubled the scorers in 5 meetings thus far, and has had easier rides. Also turfed out of his PL side, and is known for confidence issues. Sad to say, alarm bells are ringing majorly at Wolves.
-
Retweeting is essentially staying your agreement, the equivalent of a 'like' on here or Facebook. The Pedersen tweet had the words 'Well done BSPA'. There is absolutely NO credit to be given to the BSPA over this shambles. The BSPA had no concerns over this in the Winter of Discontent did they? Why start being concerned now?
-
I can't see it being Ty's idea, if it was he may as well give up now. Likely Somerset have seen he has not been riding well and taken action.
-
That is perhaps the worst possible news for Wolves. No opportunity to build confidence in the PL. If he starts of struggling in the EL I see no way he will recover confidence.... and he is very much a confidence rider.
-
Agree it was more hostile, just used the Americans to emphasise, even they got sucked into the rivalry.
-
Wolves V Cradley without a doubt. Those who didn't/haven't experienced it have missed out majorly and I suppose will never understand. You would have good mates, i.e. the Americans.. Ermolenko/Correy/Hamill/Hancock etc do anything and I mean ANYTHING to beat each other in those matches... even challenges. I just hope they stop creaming the money and get Cradley back up to the top flight where they belong so we can see more!
