There was no collision on the entry to the 3rd bend so you are clearly watching something different. The contact comes almost halfway round the corner, they are alongside each other up till that point with no contact. Now seeing as at this point Nicki is still tight to the inside, wheel over the line, he hasn't moved out.. yet we now have contact, which can mean only one thing, Zagar has moved in to try and block him. Don't let what actually happened get in the way though. Nicki has pulled some crazy, dangerous moves in the past, this wasn't one of them.

Ah I see, providing some entertainment to the paying spectators while the meeting drags on is 'not in the spirit of the sport'. We can see why speedway struggles to attract crowds can't we. What makes Heat 15 so special?

The most worrying this is that some folk actually seem to truly believe that what Tai did provided him with an advantage. Try watching his 'starts'. I think there might have been one where he has actually made the jump first.. on two of them he is trailing halfway to the bend, but gets there first as he keeps the gas on and doesn't lift. Nothing whatsoever to do with any comedy gardening he was doing. As for the 4th start he was 3rd into the 1st corner anyway. He was providing the crowd with some entertainment, it's as simple as that.

Nooooooooooooooooooooo Next you'll be singing the praises of BSI

Eurosport Or Sky ?

I must disagree. I think Quest are the best of the lot. It was their first GP and their coverage was magnificent. You'd think they would have been filming it for years!- 32 replies

Never mind, we can still see your comedy, keep them coming.

As someone mentioned earlier, if riders are doing practice starts etc, then it makes sense they should wear a helmet... if they are just trundling around on a parade lap, or bringing a bike to a rider, then I doubt it's necessary. At Wolverhampton, after the rider introductions, the riders then put on their helmets before doing a couple of laps of practice starts etc. That makes sense as some of them are also going into a skid on corners and there are a lot of riders on track.

How Many Of Us Were Wrong About Tai.?
BWitcher replied to stratton's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Yes, damn right I would. Indeed he is already actively promoting and visiting many places and guess what? He is damn popular with children. -
Keep on trolling lad. Incidentally, if it's reactions we are talking about, one of my posts on this thread has the biggest reaction of all.. It's even got a 'Popular' sign next to it because so many people liked it. Guess what, it doesn't agree with your inane ramblings. Maybe you'll need to block all those folk too, if indeed you have actually put anyone on block at all.

Apologies if posted twice, all these World Cup games, make you forgetful. Famous people are bashed mercilessly all the time by folk who are jealous. However, if we take your line of argument then Jim the Whipper must just be a nasty piece of work constantly slagging of someone who as you say, he has zero contact with. I agree, a lot of the Poole bashing does stem from jealousy of course. Not all of it, but a lot.

Of course there was contact, Nicholls had edged ahead and entered the turn tight.. so he couldn't do anything else. Harris had the choice, he caused the contact. -

Riders coming over to check is the last thing that is required. That doesn't mean they don't care about the welfare of their rivals. -
Really? It's a natural human trait to be jealous of success. The more successful someone is, the more they get people taking a pop at them and more often than not that comes from jealousy.

Finally, you accept Nicholls was in front, so the decision was wrong. Glad we cleared that up. -
Have it your way, it means he's simply an abusive nasty piece of work then, i was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.

If it had been Pedersen, Harris wouldn't have been anywhere close to him anyway! -
Aww diddums.... Tai keeps winning and Jim the Whipper doesn't like it. Keep the attacks on Tai coming if it makes you feel better, it won't stop Tai winning but it does provide the forum with some amusement.

Can see what you are saying.. but, he was already prepared, hence him having the time to do what he did. -

Jealousy isn't a good trait you know. You are right in one thing though, he is Tai Woffinden. He's the World Speedway Champion. He is the leader of this seasons World Championship. He is the current and 2 time British Champion. He doesn't have a servant, he has someone he employs and pays to bring his bike to him. Jason Garrity also had a bike brought to him, how very dare he! Awwww.. poor boy. You can bleat and bleat and bleat all you like, it won't change a thing. Tai Woffinden is British Champion and for his fans every post you make about it makes it all the more sweeter . Keep them coming!

I think we're basically seeing speedway fans revealing their true colors. It doesn't matter what happens, all they want to do is moan.. and moan.. and moan. We hear whinging there are no characters, no incidents etc over and over... then as soon as we get someone show some character, provide some amusement many of the same folk are up in arms. The same can be applied to the GP with Pedersen/Zagar. As for the allegations that Tai took 'all' the dirt from the other gates.. hilarious if you believe that is the case. Do people really, truly believe that those two little shovels of dirt he collected from the pile of dirt under the fence (where incidentally Harris couldn't put his bike) made that much difference? Harris should have won by miles if that was the case with the amount of dirt he had available to him. Then we hear allegations of 'delaying the start'? How exactly was he doing that? The 2 minutes wasn't on, extra time was being given to the riders who had fallen to sort their equipment out. At least he was providing a bit of amusement for the crowd, or perhaps they'd prefer to just look at an empty track. As for the 'farce' of the re-runs.. again, such b****y moaning. I thought it was superb. Each re-run just added to the tension. We had riders who desperately wanted it and weren't going to budge an inch to achieve it (bar Harris) and that is the epitomy of sport. That will be why you are not a referee then isn't it.

Someone is jealous. Or, to be more accurate, tai is mates with Darcy thus he is the devil in that posters eyes. -

Well, one is a rule, if you can point out the rule that says tai should be excluded, point it out. Otherwise, clever from tai, do what it takes to win. -

Barker the cause again. Second time out of control into the corner. You're going to cause yourself an injury if you just keep going into gaps that are shut. -

Barker a tad fortunate then, front wheel was still in the air, hence him not turning and getting clattered.
