  1. Apologies guys, I didn't check his previous posts.. it's just another of the multi aliases we get on here. We should just ignore.
  2. How about your other 15-20 profiles, maybe they'd fancy a go?
  3. Either that or simply don't reply. The same effect eventually.
  4. Why do they get ruined? Put on ignore, you don't see it. Simple.
  5. They can just use VPN's and the like sadly. Some of you just constantly feed it so it comes back for more and more. Just simply put on ignore and after total silence it will eventually get bored and go hassle elsewhere...
  6. Now you're trotting out the Sidney line of ' I watched it every week' which is utterly irrelevant. I haven't said anything about the overall strength of the 2019 and 2003 leagues. What I have said is quite clearly an 18 team league will have more heat leaders and higher averages than an 11 team league and that the heat leader trio you picked out were pretty average. There were far better ones. The 2003 version had more strength in depth but because they were spread over more teams it diluted the strength of the teams somewhat. So yes, overall the 2003 league had more decent riders in total, but the actual teams, not too much difference at all between the top teams in each.
  7. lmoa, Brilliant! The maths just get better.... all the riders are fiddling low averages lol. An 11 team league is harder than an 18 team league in terms of obtaining an average. There isn't a debate, it's a fact. A 7.00 assessed average suggests such an average is harder to obtain than when a 9.00 average is given. Again, it's not an 'opinion', it is fact. 9 is higher then 7.
  8. Pinny, you're not intelligent enough to understand basic Maths so there isn't any point continuing this conversation. Watson couldn't clean up in an 18 team league, let alone an 11. We understand, you have a passion for second rate 2nd division Newport heat leaders who were barely better than Tony Atkin but that's it.
  9. And your comment is about as dated as on old BBC computer as graphics come very low down in the success of the most played games in the world these days. This game is all about playability and enjoyment, graphics utterly irrelevant.
  10. Only jealous xenophobes That said, not really noticed this 'love' for Ty Proctor.
  11. Harris, Morris (now getting fitness and form back) and Schlein can all beat some of the very best in the world when on it. The same could never be said about Watson and Smart!
  12. You're judging riders on what they went on to achieve, not what they were doing then. You cannot argue. An 18 team league produces 54 heat leaders. An 11 team league produces 33. The strength of the rider is irrelevant. What assessed riders are hitting 9.00 now? Watson and Smart would be 6.5-7.5 at best riders in the current size league. That's been proven over and over. You cannot argue against Maths Pinny, give it up, you're out your depth.
  13. You're right my apologies, Andersson was at Kings Lynn that year having spent 5 years at Eastie. Either way the point still stands, despicable display from Dugard and one in which he got very very lucky. Andersson could have suffered serious injuries from hitting his head on the way down. Absolute BS Andersson saw the punch coming towards him, he was half turned away at the time and had zero time to react or defend himself at all. It was a despicable assault. Nothing at all like Ice Hockey for example where players drop the gloves to signify a fight.
  14. The bigger the league, the more heat leaders there are and the higher they will average. That is indisputable maths. I said nothing about the overall strength just pointed out your chosen heat leader trio did not prove your point as they are nowhere near as strong as Harris, Nick Morris and Rory Schlein.
  15. Compared to Chris Harris, Nick Morris and Rory Schlein the trio you've quoted are extremely weak. Watson had a couple of decent seasons in a much larger league which of course inflates your average. Was a 5pter at best in top division, again in larger league. Smart wasn't even as good as that. 8.39 in 2003, including bonus pts in an 18 team league? That's nothing special at all. Iversen was a long way of being the rider he now is. Again 9.13 including bonus in an 18 team league, nothing that great.
  16. Correct, it was a very cowardly punch on his team mate who wasn't even facing him at the time. Could have been a lot lot worse and seen Dugard jailed for a long time. He got very lucky that day,
  17. There is plenty more footage of Martin Dugard involved in far worse incidents I have from his riding days.
  18. To add to Squalls post, beginners are fully welcomed. It's not a game that is easy to pick up initially, but with a bit of practice it will suddenly 'click'. Players of all age groups are welcome, last season we had players as young as 12 and as old as 84 (Hobnob). Everyone who signs up will be allocated a team place, regardless of ability. Existing riders have their own averages, new comers generally start as lowly reserves, just as in real life. There are friendly servers held regularly in the lead up to the season where you can hone your skills against real opponents, chat, and learn from more experienced players. Once the league starts teams will have their own practices where again, new players can be taught and nurtured by their captain. It's a great experience and as close as many of us will get to the real thing.
  19. The statements made by those that were there have been found to be incorrect so they're a pretty poor judge as they got one look at the time and false impressions can be given. People are giving 'opinions' based upon the video evidence available which is as factual as you can get. Which funnily enough the SCB did. They didn't ban Cook nor even mention any element of endangering those on the back straight. The three were banned for violent behaviour, which is fair given the evidence provided.
  20. Regardless of the wording, Cook was entering the first bend at a fairly leisurely pace, the group of people were on the back straight. It's ridiculous to suggest he would have caused danger to those on the back straight.
  21. Anyway we are getting off topic. Rossiter was better than Lee or Woffinden.
