Someone is going to have to explain to me how it can be a test of whether Cradley could survive at PL level when Cradley are not riding in the meeting. There is no 'test' needed with regards Cradley. They get more than big enough gates to ride in the PL, they get big enough gates to ride in the EL! Not only that there are still a good % of Cradley fans who don't go, simply because it is only NL standard. Move up a league the crowd would increase. However, it's easy money in the NL and whilst the crowds hold up at that level, there's no need for them to move.

It's not an Oxford fixture in any shape or form. Those who go along thinking it is are quite simply mugs. This is why speedway hasn't moved on for decades, promoters have long considered their fan base to be somewhat gullible and will turn up whatever league, competition, pretend teams are on show.

It would also depend upon whether you just wanted one calculation to determine the result of the race, or it can be done in phases to 'create a race' as such.. i.e positions after lap 1, lap 2 etc. you can then link this into various forms of text for commentary too. With SCB's skills it would be pretty basic stuff. I've done something similar for wrestling way back in the day on the good old 48K. Had 16 wrestlers to select, you'd pick the two and it would give text commentary on the match. All random number generated, but with variables thrown in for their stamina, strength etc that would deplete depending upon the events of the match. Speedway would actually be easier!

Yeah. 4 fake teams with absolutely nothing to do with the so called teams they are 'representing'. Actually, Birmingham could pass. This sort of meeting is ok in a riders testimonial as that's just about raising a bit of money for the rider.. but to run it as an actual meeting is scraping the barrel somewhat. The £10 entrance might garner enough interest to make it a viable meeting, relying on a lot of support from the other teams though as can't see many Wolves fans showing up... Even the Cradley team doesn't contain a Cradley rider so not likely many of them will be in attendance either, not with them racing at home the next night.

Do you honestly believe it was his own choice, or that indeed he had any control over it? Young polish riders are at the beck and call of their 'owners' in Poland. You sign them at your peril.

Are you new to speedway or something? You're being far too harsh this time. Riding under strength and suffering some unfortunate machinery issues, lost in the final heat.. and only by virtue of the extra 3 pts Leicester got from the tac. Most thought we'd take a beating tonight. PK showed there is still life in him which is the main positive.

Didn't Harris win us the meeting there earlier in the season? When it's not your year, it's not your year. Makes no odds anyway. All about next year now and PK has shown he can still do it.
