  1. Maybe he has reported it.. likely just gets swept under the carpet anyway. He's not actually accused anyone either.. just said he's clean
  2. I'm not disputing anything that happened in the race. The clown was claiming Hansen should be banned.. my point is he is talking rubbish. Neither rider should be banned or even fined. Just a few handbags after a good race. If only we saw more of it.
  3. He patted him on the back of his head and said Well Done sir!
  4. You do realise north started the afters too and was the 'aggressor'. Not that it matters, you're just trolling of course. As said before, the more the better. Hansen a bizarre rider.. Can look brilliant in patches and absolutely awful in most others.
  5. Get over it. North won where it mattered on track. Such incidents are great for the sport. The more the better!
  6. Yes, because certain Poole fans would no doubt defend him. Therein lies the difference. Barely been watching speedway of late but thoroughly enjoyed that and even found myself cheering for Poole! Excellent performance from them
  7. Does this mean you'll actually pay all your riders when its built then? After all a crowd of 450 isn't going to do so, not when 300 of that crowd is towards rent. In all seriousness though, when the stadium does open I am confident it will be packed. Let's hope the track is put in correctly, provides some good racing and the majority of those fans are retained. There is a latent support in Manchester that can certainly be tapped into.
  8. Getting too common now riders ensuring there is some contact. Batch came of a bit quicker than he planned there. He was swerving all over the track trying to block and his final attempt came too late.
  9. There are far bigger sports who have had the same issues. In MLB, an all star by the name of Ryan Braun tested positive for PED's and was suspended. He appealed and got of because the correct 'protocol' wasn't followed to the letter in the process. He was, of course, guilty despite his protestations of innocence at the time... A year later he was busted by MLB and finally suspended.. at which point he issued a grovelling apology of course. So, far bigger sports and far bigger names have had such issues... speedway being a 'joke' doesn't come into it.
  10. The reality is, that watching a meeting streamed from home is FAR less entertaining than being there in person. So for a meeting streamed to be entertaining, it must have been a very good meeting. Which it was. No worries, you've made your position clear. You pay for names rather than racing. I'm not saying that's wrong either, far from it as there are many others who would and did do the same.
  11. So the racing and entertainment is irrelevant to you, just the names involved? The Wolves V Leicester meeting was more entertaining than pretty much any other meeting this season, but its not worth £17 you are saying? So you'd prefer to pay £17 and be less entertained. I understand.
  12. An inferior product that was the best meeting of the season... Not exactly sure what you expected on Monday night to be honest. Woffinden, a 7.5 pt rider was injured and was replaced with an equivalent rider in Schlein. Pawlicki was sacked.
  13. That's not what was hyped when they had the big fanfare about them hosting the World Cup Final there..
  14. Sam would have won the GP in 1993, he was absolutely dominant that season, averaging well above 11 in the British League that year. Sadly breaking his leg in the penultimate meeting of the season meant he was never quite the same rider again.
  15. They'd put temporary stands on the back straight and bends to increase capacity for such an event.
  16. Agreed. Harris and Schlein are Wolves riders this week and should be made to ride in all our fixtures. Should they be available for future Kings Lynn/Coventry fixtures then they are free to ride.
  17. Stop moaning, should be a cracking meeting. Wolves on paper have a cracking team of battlers which will stir memories of yesteryear teams of the late 80's, early 90's where the riders were passionate to ride for the club. There's no doubt that the riders featuring for Wolves will be desperate to impress in the hope of gaining a more permanent team place in the seasons to come and I, for one, am despondent I am out of the country and unable to see their efforts. Hopefully it will be broadcast on Bet365 as I suspect it could be a classic.
  18. Why not so happy? From a promoters point of view, you'll get just as big a crowd for the 1st leg, without the risk... 1st leg away and you get hammered (a la Birmingham last year) and you can get a lower crowd for the 2nd leg. Tactically, far better to ride the 1st leg at home, you know exactly whats required then for the away leg.. And from a fans point of view, nothing better than winning the playoffs at another teams track, as I'm sure you are aware! I accept that not all fans are able to travel..
  19. Struggling to understand what you call entertainment. You told us previously Pawlicki offered nothing to Wolves in his time there.. yet most think he was damn entertaining. Last night the racing was excellent, indeed the poster above confirms racing wise one of the best meetings of the season... yet you claim last night was a 'new low' entertainment wise.
  20. Personally I'd rather pay £17 to watch riders who want to be there, putting in maximum effort and providing some superb racing with passing in the vast majority of heats .... than £17 to watch some big names not particularly interested and average to poor racing.
  21. You must have a great deal of sympathy for PL fans then.. after all they pay almost as much to do just that each and every week.
  22. Interesting reading some of the comments on here... The racing last night was excellent. Watching it on Bet365 where meetings can come across as very tedious in deed was actually enjoyable. Thorsell 4th to 1st (grabbing it on the line) being a particular highlight. Even Nicolai pulled of a well executed cut back to pass PK (after PK had earlier passed him). It was most certainly far more entertaining than most meetings that I have seen this season from Monmore with the 'bigger names' in. What this once again shows though is some fans aren't actually bothered about the standard of the racing, but about the 'perceived' standard of the racing. I can understand that to an extent, I can understand the complaints over the strength of the teams... but what I can't understand is people claiming the racing was poor when it most certainly wasn't. The comments do back up my assertions (and others) that TNT's much promoted system would be doomed to failure.
  23. Nobody is slagging him off... just taking the mickey out of KKS.
  24. BartoszZmarzlikRacing will be making an appearance soon on the forum... Great final, front 3 having a brilliant race. Shame the guy in 4th place was in a 'different league'.
